PROVE IT WITH A LIVE ACCOUNT!!! I am not trying to scam anyone, that is the difference!! There have been thousands before you who have scammed others and you won't be the last, it is just how many suckers fall for it.

Give the guy a break. He's in the commercial section because he openly admits he's selling a service.

I agree a demo account shows little confidence in his own system and the title may eventually prove to be misleading, but his thread has only been going for 7 days.

People who put the words "30% per week" in their headline don't deserve a break: they're simply preying on the gullible and the naive, knowing that in a "desperate buyers' market" like forex-related services, in a forum they can use promotional claims which wouldn't be accepted by print media in any responsible country because they're unjustifiable and their primary intention is deceptive.

Xela, I enjoy your informative posts, but it seems like you have more energy and faith in people than me.

Other threads where you might wish to play the masked avenger and save newbies from gruesome scams include the "best winning strategy" and "1000% return" threads, which are currently (no surprise) incredibly popular on the forum. Good luck... but do newbies even want to be saved?

I get exhausted just reading these threads... The voices of reason are the ones never listened to, which makes me think that people either can't think logically, or don't want to. Fairy stardust is more fun than work.

if the gullible and naive fall for a scam in the long term it may prove to be money well spent and the best lesson they have had, as maybe they will no longer be gullible and naive.

If they're incredibly popular, they're probably really long threads. When I see promotional-looking titles like "Best Winning Strategy" or "1000% Return" making obviously ludicrous/dishonest claims, I do often feel a sarcastic comment coming on, it's true, but I'm not willing to read a long thread just to offer one. I sometimes respond if I'm in time to get in on the first page, but don't bother with the longer ones, usually. The damage is done, with those? And I'm not that interested.

In theory, yes. I suspect that many remain so, though, really. Which is why you're both probably quite right to be implying that my more critical posts are largely unhelpful, I'm afraid.

True

...but what i'm saying is if you are stupid enough to send money to someone you don't know after seeing a handful of trades on a demo account, in a forum notoriously littered with scammers and lairs then it would be a good sharp lesson for those that obviously need it.

Hi hanover:

1. This account has been running for 26 days, so just under 4-weeks. The average is 30.5% per week to date;
2. I do not use a strict % risk per trade. Instead I use an ATR factor, which to date shows a RF% of around 5.7% in post analysis;
3. Drawdown is currently around 10%, and in a worse case I would not expect it to exceed 20%; and
4. The ATR factor I use forms the entry stop-loss and trailing stop-loss applied to all trades.

Hi All,

I am too thinking of selling my signal from MQL5, but i'm of the notion that it is making that much money, as in 60% this week, why do i need to sell it, this is what i think of other signal providers, dont you?

As Xela pointed out, compounding such returns would lead to unrealistic numbers ($5,000 becoming $4.5M in 6 months). Even with regular withdrawals, sustained 30% weekly returns would be extraordinary in live market conditions. I'd be more interested in seeing verified long-term results from a real account with reasonable risk management, rather than just a 2-month demo trial.
