no trade yet on g/u as pa is not showing any retracement/reversal...I would like a pinbar at the 78.6 level level on H1 before deciding on a trade on the long side or a clear break of this level to go short

oil was on heat and traded with a 500+ range yesterday. It missed another line on my chart by a bit and there is another line (5 bucks away)...further up..Day chart below

Hi Aneczka, no I use market orders and not pending orders. I enter and manage my charts actively since I trade the 5M charts with tiny SLs and TPs. Since PA moves faster especially in lower TFs the EMA are all dynamic and move so you can't set pending orders on any EMA ahead of time but perhaps on the RNs and areas of confluence yes but not on a 5M chart. Yesterday spent about 12 hours in front of charts with a few 30 minute breaks.

Hi Meihk, I do trade ABC Patterns at times but that is not what this thread is about. Let me post a chart and explain.

On the left is a typical ABC pattern trade and on the right there is the BOUNCE trade as taught here. The entry on the BOUNCE trade right at the turn ( Point A) is a better entry with only a TINY SL. But if you just enter a trade as soon the price pulls back a little you will lose more than you win. There has got to be supporting reason(s) to take such BOUNCE trades. In this thread, we use 10 EMA ( 30 EMA on 10M chart), RN, EMA 200, EMA 800, support and resistance.

When price on the right, BOUNCES from Point A and below it there is a major support (10 EMA ( 30 EMA on 10M chart), RN, EMA 200, EMA 800) then we take the trade. When there is confluence of more than one, for example, EMA plus major support or resistance, high or low of yesterday or divergence in higher TF then our setup is stronger. Some enter after the BOUNCE and others after much experience enter at the TOUCH which is more riskier but you enter at a better price with even smaller SL. I am going to post a few of loveevery1 (originator of this thread) teachings in the next few posts. It is all in this great thread. I hope this helps.
