I hired Ak386 ({ personal information deleted by staff, per request }) to program an EA for me over a month ago. I foolishly paid him before the work was completed, which is my fault. I was told that the EA would be completed in two days. Well, it's been over a month now. I hear no response from him. I messaged him using facebook, and then he deleted his account.

DO NOT USE DAN AS A PROGRAMMER. HE IS A SCAMMER!

Search on this forum for { personal information deleted by staff, per request } or mtcoding.com and you will see others complaining about being ripped off as well. You can see his other usernames when searching.

i can recommend sites like oDesk.com or elance.com where you can find very good MT4 programmers. The advantage on these sites is that you transfer the money to an escrow account first. And only after the work is delivered you need to release the money.
Don't know what issue you could of had other than maybe you tried to ask for too much paying too little. Dan coded an EA for me a month ago and it's working fine. Took a little longer to get it right but I got it.

I paid the amount he asked for and have been chasing him for the last 8 weeks. He is a thief, and a scammer who could not lie straight in bed. I guess everybody is wrong but you. Last time I spoke to him he was stoned and offered me a sizeable credit (that's a little odd because he has not started the original project)

Maybe you are God Squad too. Danny boy has forgotten the meaning of the 8th and 9th Commandments. Thank goodness I am not religious. Check him and his family out on the internet. The apple has not fallen far from the tree.

Wow, he offered me the same thing. I don't believe he will come through. I hate being robbed and losing money this way. I just wish I trusted my gut.

Lesson: Do not send any individual money through Western Union unless you know them. You cannot get it back. Use PayPal instead.

I can only speak to my experience. He took longer than anticipated but I got the EA and it works as intended.

Okay....so what pics on the internet should I be looking for? I don't see anything bad.

Did I say anything about 'pics'? Have a look at court records, bankruptcy records, financial default notices, DUI etc. Do your own digging, and NEVER ever send ANY money to this guy unless he sends the work first. As I said, the apple did not fall far from the tree. Don't believe the religious stuff either, this clown could not lie straight in bed. I promise I will let you know if I ever see the work I have paid for in full or a refund. Do NOT hold your breath in the meantime. No way it is going to happen.

I just want to report my experience with { personal information deleted by staff, per request }.

I ordered a custom indicator and within a few hours we started a constructive dialogue where he understood exactly what I wanted.

My indicator arrived today and works exactly as I requested.

So as far as I am concerned, the experience was entirely positive.

Well, I am surprised to hear the rip off story. Dan has made several EAs for me a few years back. Though in some cases it took longer than expected but at the end he delivered.

This world can be quick to judge, so before you make your final decision based on a couple of bad reviews as opposed to the thousands of happy clients I have had since 2008, please feel free to email me: { email address deleted by staff } if you have any questions regarding the bad reviews, and I can explain everything in detail. This is a corrupt world, with my competitors writing fake bad reviews about me and liars who threaten to write a bad review if they do not get free programming.

And remember, just because your strategy may not be completely automated (maybe you need a feel for your support/resistance lines rather than hard logic, for example), you can still lessen your time behind the screen by having an alert occur when certain conditions are met, for you to then go look at your screen for trading opportunities. I offer very good customer service, even as to provide my personal phone number that you can reach at any time in the Pacific Standard Timezone.

Seems a long time to respond to the allegations against you,nearly 12 months since the first post,10 months since the last.
Only an observation i have no interest one way or the other,the recommendations above look legit to me

You don't seem to know when to let sleeping dogs lie. For anyone else who wants to know of my personal experience with a 'programmer' who acts in the most UNPROFESSIONAL manner who calls clients whilst blind drunk, or who insists on full payment before any work is started, who then has to be hunted by international calls (at my expense) for MONTHS just to complete what should have been no more than 4 hours work... and who, in another drunken stupor suggested that he would do extra work (free of charge) IF... I did not give him a bad rap on FF. Who suggested as a bribe that he would complete the work within 'a matter of days' if I would delete my comments on this board. don't know about you but I hold my business contacts to a higher standard.

I did not realize it earlier because I did not bother to google reviews about myself, since I currently do not have anybody that I owe anything to, and any client that I had that was disappointed (maybe I took 1 or 2 days longer than expected; this is normal for a programmer to underestimate the completion time), I had compensated them by giving a fair discount on the next project or had programmed free modifications. There will always be clients that go above and beyond to attempt to ruin a business reputation because they practice the "requirements creep" and threaten to post bad reviews unless they get free programming. We will all reap what we sow, so I forgive them all.

I have had clients come to me, even a couple weeks ago, telling me that they are surprised at all of your posts and cannot believe how immature it is and that you were not already banned from ForexFactory for posting lies and false assumptions.

After all the difficulty I went through with you, I humbled myself and offered to program a free project for you to seek peace, but you try to use it against me once again.

If I were currently banned, you would be unable to view this post. I am not, nor have I ever been banned from Forex Factory.

Seems as though being truthful and providing evidence of that is a bit too strong for FF. so, they have deemed my last response as being too harsh, and a breach of conduct and as such have 'hidden' the contents of that post. It was a strong, no punches pulled post about the kind of conduct which YOU brought to a 'professional relationship', citing PROOF of your lies and deceit..... IN YOUR OWN WORDS.

If anyone is considering using you to provide services I would be happy to provide a screenshot of the 'hidden' post and would be happy to have a discussion about my experience with you. I am not sure of your motives in attempting to resurrect this thread after a year of silence.

A note to anyone considering using Dan Ostapuke's service.... DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING I SAY AS GOSPEL. My only caution is "CAVEAT EMPTOR --- BUYER BEWARE" Be very cautious in your dealings.

Please do not contact me if you are simply morbidly curious but only if you are seriously considering using this man's services and would like a different perspective. Just a view based on my personal dealings with this person.

I have proof of everything I say. Including texts, PM's, Skype Texts, Times Dates, etc.
