Okey, I looked at the error with strange symbols instruments again. As you can see in the pictures, theres problem with Double Compare in library. If someone is able to fix that (some code skills needed), maybe thats finally solution for all Renko users with strange symbol instruments.

mmmh i'm not a programmer but
i never seen before -DE.30..-
it could be that EA (code) does not like all those dots
(I do not know, maybe and nonsense)

Thank you, I will put comment to that thread. I spent actually about 3-4 days with finding on google some solution or upgraded version, but nobody fixed this yet. And thats the main reason why often people writes to threads, that they did everything right and still can not find offline chart of instrument, yes because it can not be create if it include strange symbols. Only reason is as I wrote some pages back - pay for Ovo Forex Renko generator, but I think almost 50$ for stupid indicator is hell much, mainly if you only want to try some strategy on bTests or Demo account trading.

Friska: Youre right, the EA can not read it, even if I allow the Strange Symbol option (same reaction). You know, and I am relax with my broker, so no reason to change for another one because 2 dots in title of instruments

I will see if guys who adviced me MisterC will able to help me and I will post there the fixed version.

If that doesn't work you could simply download the MT4 from another broker that offers DAX, make a demo account and work with that. Analyse off that and trade off your main broker...although it is a bit inconvenient. If I remember correctly "SunbirdFX" offers DAX on the demo accounts...and it has quite a decent data feed.

Yes, the simpliest way is change broker, but as I wrote - I am maximum happy with XTB-broker. Best conditions for DAX from all available brokers as I have seen yet. Better is only Admiral Markets with their fixed 10 points spread on DAX, but same a strange symbol in title. I will wait if the guys fix that, and If not, than I dont know...

Took another EU trade, +21.

My analysis was good however my entry was sh*t; almost hit my SL.

Analysis: Price marked the low of the day (around the low of the previous day), consolidated and broke up. A failed 123 attempt lead to TR break. I could have entered a quick short but it would have been a quick scalp or a BE trade. Price didn't manage to go lower, went higher, made HH followed by a PB and off it goes forming a valid 123.

There was a divergence and it was right on the 50fib level of the down move generated by news. I decided to ignore it because price was making progress higher; the fact that it could not keep going under the fibs I have on the chart shows buyers so eventual shorts should have been closed there.

Ideal entry: renko going above fib levels closing above MA. Stoch slope up.
My entry: ............. well, I assumed that price would bounce off the 50 fib and continue...without slipping through. Sort of...don't trade price...trade assumptions.

Remind me why you are trying to use renkolivechart v3.2. i have tried it out on Pepperstone and Tickmill brokers and it will not work on either and neither of those is a strange symbol name.

Dee, I think it is same EA as all that free what are actually everywhere on internet. I tried to attach really all versions of Renko generator and nothing works with these strange symbols. So it need to fix this bug, nothing else, and if it is RenkoLiveCharts_pimped_v3.4 or I dont know what else - I need that run on DE30.. or *DAX*

Btw, what version actually are you using ?

Yes Dee, at this moment Im looking on it in mq4 code, but I dont know why it doesnt run. I edited the up comment, you can see - still the same error with some library.

Ok, thats really strange actually - I tried to run version V4_13 on Admiral Markets broker and it works with strange symbol in title as you can see. Maybe old platform at XTB broker ?

I long since gave up trying to work out why all things are not equal or at least the same, with regards to Forex brokers!!!

Please feel free to comment, I insist that you comment, what was Bad, what was REALLY Bad, what was good, but don't just say "number 1 was bad number 2 was ok" why were they bad? What was I thinking? was I thinking!!! etc.
Hindsight is a lousy Judge. so don't convict me until you have thought, "what was happening at the moment of entry" was his wife distracting him or, was it his neighbours wife?

And if none of you want to play, no worries, I had fun trading like that.

This is going to be interesting...because I bet that I can see one thing right and someone else will see it wrong and there is a chance that we'll both be right.

Well...your game sounds like fun . Expect my answer shortly. BTW...you traded only off the 5 renko?
