an indicator I got from fxcm called ssi...you are supposed to take trades against the majority as it's a contrarian indicator..for e.g if you look at oil,there are many long trades and so you trade short..Does it work? I dunno

This is the daily chart of e/g...price has made a HH and HL and with the ssi you can see many are short so maybe I will look for a long entry on lower time frame

LET ME TELL YOU SOME : THE SECRET IS THE 10 EMA, thats it. We dont need more. One is all, all is one said Arjun if i remember. Just 15 pips everyday constantly is all we need to put our account somewhere. Do the math with 15 pips every single day with compound . 10 EMA BOUNCE .

Yes i totally agree that the secret is the 10ema. its very magical.
its like your personal ATM.

But the question is how to use it.
do we take every 10ema cross and hope our account grows. (50/50 chance)
Or do we know exactly which cross to take that will be in our favour 95%of the time.

Just like the atm just having an atm does not mean we will have money automatically.
We need an atm card
we need the correct pin number
then only money will come out. (in a scenario that we hav money in the bank ofcourse )

Now everyone should take a minute to think when i take a trade how do i feel?
do i feel like im not sure what i did and whether im on the right track. Im not sure if im going to get money or lose money from the machine.

or
do i feel like im confident and know the certain steps i must take toget my money out of the machine.

if you chose the first one then you are standing infront of the one arm bandit and not the atm.
ad ofcourse if you chose the second option then you are standing infront of the atm.

ofcourse the atm will give you the money 100% of the time .
confidence levels there are ofcourse absolutely high.
im not saying when we take a trade theres 100%win rate.
nope because that does not exist.
but i am saying there is a 90% to 95% win rate.
now to have that win rate you will also have a very high confidence level.

When you unlock secrets and learn to harness the power of the 10ema .
you will know when to enter exactly.
you will know when to exit for very small loss (under 10pips) if the trade goes wrong.
These 2things are the main things for me.

Now imagine you win 15 to 30pips 90% to 95% of the time
and then you lose under 10pips 5% to 10% of the time.
How will your confidence be?
how you think your account will look?

When i joined this thread i thought i knew but i didnt even though i made pips.
After 2 years of using the same way of trading i finally started to see the magic of the 10ema.
Some might get it sooner and with some it might take longer.
but it will come thats if you be consistent.
if you cant be consistent and jump from here to there , there to here you wont get it at all.
and let me tell you that once you get it then trading forex will literally be the easiest job under the sun.

Now i monitor this thread and see people making pips which is very good.
but i didnt see anyone here unlocking the real magic of the 10ema.

we all know about the 10 ema..and also know about the pinbar on the 10 ema... but is that all?

10ema + pinbar + (specific) TDI cross.. is this what you mean??

Yip thats all but not all the time will it be a pin bar on the 10ema.
but if you get a pin bar its better.
if you dont get a pin bar then what do you do?
yes specific tdi cross
or specific 10ema cross ( if you not usi the TDI)
both will give the same result.

By taking specific tdi crosses or 10ema crosses means filtering the bad crosses. aint that what we all want.
because how many times we entered on seemingly good tdi crosses but it didnt take us anywhere except for diminish our confidence?
and hw many times we too scared to enter after we entered on a bad cross only to see the next cross make a nice big move.

i did notice that if 10 ema cross the other emas and tdi cross the same direction the trades are stronger and more profitable.

dont get me wrong.
Im not saying that no one ever unlocked the magic of the 10ema.
there were some.
but not in the current time of this thread.
the few that found this was in the time of arjun.
ofcoz arjun was the one to show us.
so he knew best.
but if anyone is interested i would read arjuns posts and look at the traders that were here during those times.
Arjuns trades were the main clues.
Study hard my friends.
Just reading the posts aint enough.
after reading it you will need loads of practice for it to stick out like a sore thumb.
you will never say after that "is this a good cross or a bad one" you will just know.

You know these posts that i put up are only of value to people who were here long enough to know its value.
Other than that its useless.
Life is like this people need a bench mark for everything. otherwise they aint going to be satisfied.
eg. if you give some a bugatti andjust tell him its the fastest car there is and dont worry to try the others coz you already know its the fastest.
is he going to believe you if thats his forst car he ever drives.
he wont even know its the fastest car coz he wont know what are slow cars in the first place. theres no benchmark for him to compare to by himself.

To know something is the best they need to know whats useless in the first place.
likewhen we come on forex factory for the first time. someone will give use theholy grail / golden goose and tells you this is it dont bother looking at other systems.
because you dont even know about the other systems you will never believe him.
you willthink theres alwaysbetter until you try all and come back to the holy grail and then realize its worth.
