I installed the newest version (1.20). I got a signal, but no autotrade.

Ok, thanks, that would be sufficient for this stage of testing, although I will let the EA run the whole day on my recording PC.

HI,

I was wondering how come my renko bars has wicks while the rest of the members that posted only has the body. Can someone advise? Thank you.

This is time-lapse recording for 2015-07-30
I've replaced 1.10 with 1.20 in the middle of the day today with the following new settings for trailing stop:
-Initial profit to start trailing: 300 (30pips)
-Trailing Stop Distance: 150 (15pips)
Everything else stays the same.

It didn't open any trade after an alert. My broker is pepperstone. Other EA's working fine.

I will not be able to record EA for some time, but my latest observations are that you need a semi-automatic approach and stop EA from running during news manually.

Mathtrader, I would appreciate if you add those stop and restart buttons so we don't have to re-open and set all the charts every time we stop the EA.

I'm using all the default settings except for trading time (0-23) and TP which I set to 0 now. I think Mathtrader's idea that trade should run until the opposite signal is given for the particular pair, is correct. And also latest version has trailing stop, I now use the default settings for it.
Version 1.30 of the EA released. In this version two buttons added to the chart. A button closes the current open trade, and the other one disables the EA. These two buttons are implemented for bypassing the high impact news manually.

Hello .... I am really interested in this thread and been looking at renko ' for a while, my question is , does this EA business work ?,
I see it on several threads
and Math trader seems to be the Man , Guru etc.
I am in a very low paid job and have limited hours to trade, so any help is greatly appreciated. .

Hello pgburty, this EA is experimental and under development. We need to improve and test it more. Do not use it on your real account at the moment.

I tried attaching the ea version 1.2 last week, but from the beginning of the week to the end of the week,the ea did not open any trade, please, was there something that I didn't do well?

Thanks for your anticipated kind response, if you can outline from the first step to the last what and what I need to do to enable the ea to open trades.

I haven't tested the EA with FX Pro broker. In order to test the EA, open a demo account on IC Markets and setup the EA on Renko charts. If the EA doesn't trade on IC Markets, let me know.
