To be honest I've not heard from Ken in ages. He invited me back to AG about a year ago but I wasn't in position to dedicate any time to it. I hope he is as I had a great time there and learned loads.

Not sure if there's a rule for this (apart from making sure the overall risk is in check). Here's a good example of averaging into the zone and then adding after PA confirmation.

I actually think this is going lower looking at Daily PA so will hold this top one to see what happens.

Yes AG is still working,Ken is still mentoring some newbies,doing live sessions with them.
But this week i'm getting malware alerts from google when trying to connect there...

Staying out of markets in big news is still making profit.

C-12, Outstanding trading my friend, enjoy the weekend. With what looks like a very healthy Risk/Reward on the trades you posted and just accepting the losses when they come things look very promising for you.

I know a guy who has a 38% win rate (for some this would be disappointing) but has a average of 4R rewards for every 1R he loses and he is very successful (live spreadbetter on daily TF) The managing of risk is a massive part of long term success. Old mantra but so true cut the losses and let those winner run.

Keep up the good work C-12 your are an inspiration and a breath of fresh air

Cheers mate. Although it's been a great week I've got a hell of a lot of work to going forward in terms of funding my live account again.

I need to sit down this weekend and start planning ahead, specifically discipline. Overall I took too many trades this week and I need to see how things pan out in slower and choppier markets.

I like the combo of H4 for direction and a H1/M30 for entry since there's more than enough action across 16 - 20 pairs. M1 is definitely out of the window for sure!

This week was a dream for S/D traders and I hope more people get interested.

You mentioned over trading C-12. I thought about this with this method and realised it would be very easy to have too many limit orders sitting at good set ups over a range of pairs but if you had a large movement for example in the euro most or all of them could be triggered at the same time and could lead to multiple and magnified losses. That's the disadvantage of forex every pair has some degree of correlation with the others.

Maybe just cut down the number of pairs, reduces the opportunities but seems less risky. Or you could add a few indices, Oil Gold, Wheat Sugar etc from the Futures camp. I think unseen correlation can be a hidden account killer. Well, just my thinking out loud.

Yeah I have considered that I was compounding risk with so many GBP shorts. Still I needed some target practice this week and got plenty of it.

Ok just checked and not all H4 are the same depending on candle close but should be similar.

I have found this awesome thing where you can select any major news event and see with 1 click the charts that how it reacted to the event.
It can save us some time if we plan to trade NFP like KEN.

Oh yeah I like the RTM crew and they like to break apart an M1 or M5 chart into crazy detail.

Really though, often just a nice clean higher time-frame zone is all that's needed. Same thing with this EURNZD one. Very little analysis needed.
