Big movement at the London opening today. I didn't manage to control my fear and step out to soon on GU. Not wanting to do the same mistake, I just set up a trailing stop on EU and let it run - it proved to be more profitable.

Best not trade before or after 30min of news.
On Higher TF everything moves fundamentally example Feds keep announcing IR hike followed by Carney and oil dropping Canadian Aussie NZD dropping.You see it kind of makes sense.
You can choose higher TF trading or Lower.Higher TF expect big draw downs since trends can go into corrections.Most retail traders don't have the equity necessary to stay in a big trend hence why most like lower TF. LTF requires precision entry.

I took this trade after stumbling out of bed and not realising there is UK red news in half an hour. The pink area is actually the 1 hour where price was rejected previously. I took this to mean strong resistence and it looks like it actually is. Anyway ,I have locked in at b/e+ on the remaining 1/4

I took a long on u/cad on the daily after the day closed bullish. On the 4 hour chart here there are 2 pink lines (S/R)..The stop is wider in line with the time frame I am on. Anyway, I re-entered on the 4 hour as I believe a bounce near/at the 34 will occur as it is still bullish overall..Let's see how this progresses

hello x-man. i would thought be B too, but let try see it from your point of view. A is going up and when it jump it will bounce higher than where B man is and when B man fall it bounce lower because price going down and will only go lower after its bounce.

On LTF many candles close before a single candle closed on HTF´s.

You conditioned my brains with your question, your scenario as a man A or B jumping on a trampoline, obviously man B will bounce higher because has more momentum and gravity does the rest.

But your question is not really about a man jumping but momentum of PA bouncing on MAs, for that I will have answered man A, its actually like a 123 pattern or a cross and retest on the MA.

Correct?

Also understand what you saying about people not wanting to lean, as no answers to your questions were given a few of those have been missed, because you noticed that there were no efforts. Its a pity, that was a good question and a good tip... but, passed in blank, no one noticed.

Newbies must grab the chances when someone like you and of your knowhow are willing to teach and contribute to help on their path.

i do get lucky on news some time and pips reward are awesome not with big lot. thanks for sharing.

Now your answer is much better.
Sometimes traders trade 123 or fibbs etc.
we dont even know all that but we will trade it successfully.
like some traders will say they trade 123 setups right then you will get other traders trading the 10ema or whatever ema bounce
they will mostly get the same setup
even the guy thats trading fibbs will get almost the same setup.
so in that area there will be traders looking at their different strategies but all will be buying or selling at almost the same time.
this is the confluence of the strategies.
