I shorted the aussie as well which I forgot to post earlier..I am keeping my U/cad and U/chf longs looking higher...

I hope everyone had a profitable week . . . i noticed there has been some discussion on money management, position sizing, pip value, and risk in the last day and i thought to share a couple of PDF's with a wealth of information. First PDF is a compilation of some of Emmanuel's posts and ideas and the second are thoughts from Mr.Pip.

Regardless whether you choose to follow any of the strategies/ideas laid out in the PDF's, the documents are very interesting and will at the minimum get you to start thinking of alternate approaches.

It is also important to know the value for each pip of each currency pair we are monitoring/trading in order to correctly position size. Chart below is a screen shot from following website which is a good bookmark to have: https://www.mataf.net/en/tools/04-02-pip-value

You were right. I was aware of the TDI when I opened the position, but I just do not use to take the TDI into consideration. So I entered based on price alone. It was a loss.

I hope you are on demo. I am in the testing faze with this strategy, so I use a demo. But X-man does not use TDI, and he is very successful with this strategy. And I remember reading a post of LE1, where he said that all indicators are useless, including TDI, and we should use just price action and EMAs.
