Hi fellow traders,

Last night one friend of mine sent me a video illustrated the Mostafa Belkayate system. After watching carefully the video I realized the TMA and Center of gravity

acts almost the same way. I use the prevailing trend on HTF and enter in LTF --TREND FOLLOWING--. While the MB system uses the dynamic trend and enter a

trade on the same TF. And also I realized the MBFX Timing indicator is created by Mostafa Belkayate.

So the DTDT system is very good to make green pips. My confidence regarding the DTDT system goes one more step higher.

The video is in french. I am very sorry for the people who don't understand in french.

Hi People, How about this for a higher TF strategy. --------- Strip all the indicators apart from the SSChanel indicator and add a 200ema (exponential moving average). When price is above the 200ema and a SSChanel circle appears, change to H1 Example: UJ (I'm currently long) {image} Go long when price crosses the white line. SL and TP is up to you, but I take two trades; one with a 100 pip SL and 100 pip TP, the other move to BE when the first TP is hit and then stay in until the 200ema is crossed back through. {image} Many green pips to all. p.s....

Dear Moonie,

Can you please explain more with illustrations on both the daily and H1???

thanks,

Nerry

Hi guys,

At the European session, I will use the new improvement of the analysis. This time price must close inside the TMA on M15. Because we want to make sure the market is OS/OB on M15 first before pinpoint on M5.

Inside the upper TMA (RED) -- Zone Overbought

Inside the lower TMA (GREEN) -- Zone Oversold

The rule of LONG TRADE

M15:

Trends : TH4 & TH1 are up (BLUE)

Reversal : Price must close inside the TMA + big blue dot circle appears

MBFX Timing : must be in the OS area

BPS : Blue parabolic signal appears

Go to M5

M5:

Trends : TH4 & TH1 are up (BLUE)

Reversal : Price must close inside the TMA + big blue dot circle appears

MBFX Timing : goes below 30 level and turns blue

BPS : Blue parabolic signal appears

Go Long = Signal = Trends are up (BLUE) + Reversal + BPS + MBFX Timing + below the RIPT

Hi,

I want to show you how to enter a trade after a huge candle.

The chart below illustrates the concept.

M15:

All conditions for LONG are met.

Go to M5_i

M5:

The signal_i is ready to go long after the huge candle closes. But we are not going to enter after the huge candle closes because price will retrace.

To make sure price is completely retrace we have to go back to M15 and wait the red parabolic signal appears. Then go to M5_ii to pinpoint.

On M5, price must close inside the TMA and make sure big blue dot circle appears.

And proceed LONG according to the rules.

Hope my explanations are not confused.

Dear Sai Ram,

Why did you change the TMA settings to 21,55 on H1/H4? Does this improve the system? Is this only for short term scalping or also for long term?

Kind regards,

Hi,

Very good question!!

I'm not changing the TMA setting. But I have improved the trend by adjusting the MA value on the Fx TrendBand MTF indicator. The cross 5/10 EMA uses on H4 is

great if the market is trending. But when the market ranges then the 5/10 EMA will cross a lot. To prevent this issue I decide to use the cross of the 21/55 EMA.

I have an occasion in the past to use these MAs that are originated by FXBootcamp. They use the cross 21/55 EMA to determine the direction of the market in any TFs.

So I decide to put 21/55 EMA on H1 too. But I have introduced the strategy how to trade when TH4 and TH1 are not in harmony. So don't be afraid the 21/55 EMA versus the 5/10 and 40/80 EMA.

This modification improves the timing entry for the trend following. It won't affect the DTDT_HTF using the dynamic trend as a current direction.

I hope this modification won't make you hate the DTDT system

Dear,

Yes sorry that was my mistake! Could you explain 'market ranges'? Also for 'anty TFs'? Thanks for your explanation. I'm currently trying an simple EA that's looking for pairs that are in harmony with H1/H4 and trade them on the 3.5TMA multiplier. R:R 1:1. TP probably 25-30 pips. I'm not able to trade during London and NY session. Hope you're not fully against EA's. I'm holding trade for like 1-24 hours. If it works i'll keep you updated. Hoping on 1-2 trades daily with 6-9 pairs.

Regards,

You are not wrong.

May I suggest you to get a look to the POST#3786.

Then you will decide which strategy to use SL and TP.

Dear,

Thanks for clear explanation. I'll stick to 5/10 and 40/80, because i'm looking for trending markets. Ranging markets has some opportunities also, but could go wrong easily if the trend is set afterwards. Then most likely the H1/H4 wouldn't be in harmony anymore. So if that happens I will not trade. Thanks for the answers. I'm not as active as I used to be, but still daily following. I'll check out post#3786.

Edit: I used to have 1:2 R:R, but then alot of my trades went SL. I did some backtest with 1:1 and everything seems fine. Hopefully looking at 80% winrate. It's still in progress so don't expect much from me, i'm still a newbie.

Hi,

How to trade when the trend H4 and the trend H1 are not in the same direction.

First look to the current price behavior on M15.

I_If price trade above the RIPT then wait until price closes in the upper TMA and make sure the red dot circle appears.-- SHORT TRADE --

II_If price trade below the RIPT then wait until price closes in the lower TMA and make sure the blue dot circle appears.-- LONG TRADE --

THEN GO TO M5 TO PINPOINT

The chart below illustrates the SHORT TRADE

M15:

Price trades above the RIPT (ZONE OF SELL) and closes inside the upper TMA (ZONE OVERBOUGHT) and this set-up coincides with the direction H1 (DOWN TREND). Also make sure the MBFX Timing is sitting in the overbought area.

Go to M5

M5:

Trends : TH1 is down (RED)

Reversal: Price closes inside the TMA + red dot circle appears

RPS : Red parabolic signal appears

MBFX Timing : went above 70 level and turns RED

Go Short = Signal = Trend is down + Reversal + RPS + MBFX Timing + above the RIPT

SELL Kiwi on M15

M15 : Sell NzdUsd -- Aggressive entry

Trends : TH4 & TH1 are down (RED)

Reversal : Price closes above the TMA + red dot circle appears

MBFX Timing : went above the 70 level and turned yellow -- Enter sell aggressive after MBFX Timing turned yellow.

Aggressive entry sell = Signal = Trends are down + Reversal + MBFX Timing + above the RIPT

SL and TP according to the method stated in POST#3786. But I use MENTAL STOP LOSS.
