AN closed +10 +6..... Currently long EC from opening of current hourly bar ...half off +10...remained is +25.... Trailing....

FWIW.....IMO, today's huge EUR rally is merely quarter end profit taking.......look at the 3 month move in EUR against all the majors. It has been very profitable very quickly ..... But I also think that Wednesday and Thursday will see this unwind again. I will trade whichever way it happens, but I see BIG profits to the downside from these levels. Just my.02

Oh I'm huge bear on the EUR which is why I've been long on Dollar. LOL But I've given up on trying to get in on the "top" of that Wave 4 correction. I'm actually glad it popped down via Greece cos at least the directional bias has been confirmed somewhat. Still haven't shorted it, though.... not in a rush. Lots of other great pickings!

I don't take any positions until my system says to and my CSM agrees. Hence, I am never picking tops or bottoms. I trade only hourly opens.

well....I don't normally trade Asia, but these are not normal times. I will check out the action at Tokyo open.

Also a very likely possibility Mike, adding to month end/quarter end flows, is a re-balance of euro hedges.

14:04 EDT - Today has all the makings of a broad risk-off trade due to Greece: stocks are down while safe-haven Treasury's and Japanese yen are up. But the euro is staging a comeback, with it now up 0.8% at $1.125 after trading as much as 3c below that overnight. Why? Nomura raises the idea of euro hedges needing to be re-balanced in the face of weaker European stocks. The investment bank notes about EUR150B of positions from foreign investors have accumulated in European equity markets so far this year, of which perhaps 70% is hedged. A 5% decline in the Stoxx Europe 600 would be about EUR5B of euro to buy, estimates Nomura. The index fell 2.7% today, the most since Oct. 15.
