MTF Dashboard thread

I'm having trouble getting the dashboard to show up in my custom indicators list. I copied the dashboard file into my indicators directory and relaunched the app. I'm running MT4 from Forex.com Version 4 build 840. Still slightly confused as to what files I need to have and where they go. My apologies for asking such a basic question as I am new to Forex. Thx Much!

Be sure to open your folder in the right way : Files > Open Data Folder > MQL4 ... Don't go to folder through Windows explorer ... Only through your platform.

Then copy the indicator in its folder and restart the platform.

The MTF Dashboard indicators are not Expert Advisors ( EA's ) they will work if you put them in the correct folder.

Greetings!
Please someone tell me how to rearrange indicator windows (not the chart window) without having to completely rebuild a template. In other words, just change indicator window #2 to #3 and change #3 to #2.

Obviously an indicator goes in /indicators/ folder ... and an expert goes in the /experts/ folder ... At least that's obvious for me ...

2 possibilities:

1/ You copied in the wrong folder

2/ You forgot to restart the platform

Did you opened the folder in the correct way ?

The only way to find the right folder is from your platform : File > Open Data Folder > MQL4 > ...

other indicator are ex4 & mql4 surce . but thise indicators only ex4 . image post 268

So what ?

Your platform use only .ex4 files.

.mq4 are files for coders.
