PVSRA (Price, Volume, S&R Analysis)

Another small PVSRA trade on EU. Entered a little late and my third TP was stopped out by a 15 pip trailing stop. I should have entered on the pullback from the green 1/2 line and I could have hit the third TP of 30 pips before price reached the 1/1 blue line.

AU, M5 Scalp +5.4, entered after nice run up from 0.77000 blue line & DO white line up to the 0.77500 area where PA stalled and looked good for a quick counter trend pullback scalp as it did from 0.77250 key level.......(saw this pair late and missed earlier nice run up).....

Something to share with you ,their are a lot of folks around that will offer you the secrets to trading ,for around 10 k,some of my friends have be more than happy to part with their cash,after their lessons,which are not ...PVSRA, they continue to let the markets steal from them.I as a friend have tried to send them in the rite direction,to learn PVSRA,to learn it well.it works,sadly they dont want to work.and they keep moaning about losing their money .PVSRA is the way to trade and we know where to find the greatest teachers of all .have a grerat day all.cheers zan

EURUSD, discussion/question.

Prices have been ranging slightly above 1/1 level and dropped below 1/1 level. I see higher volume above 1/1 level pushing down the price and lesser volume below 1/1 level pushing up the price.

From my understanding:
1) Hovering above 1/1 level = SM/MM will be short.
2) More volume at the top = SM/MM will be short.

Please advise/discuss.

GU, M5 scalp +12, (for this quick scalp, just increased my lot size to 5 lots to accommodate for the small pip target) entered short on long wicks above 1.57250, as short term resistance looking for a short pullback counter trend as it did offering my scalp opportunity prior to resuming the move up with a strong GBP vs USD.......

My basis analysis is PVSRA as mentioned by TAH in the page#1.

1. I read the market with PVSRA to make a hypothesis "what is roughly considered by MMS". As mentioned in page#1: price tends to consolidate above key SR when MMs are filling short orders for SM (Smart Money) and long orders for DM (Dumb Money), and price tends to consolidate below key SR when MMs are filling long orders for SM and short orders for DM. So, in the case of UJ on my last trade on yesterday, i found some PVSRA clues on higher TF (cz on this UJ trade i used M5 TF to trade, so the higher TF is M15 (at least), or H1). For examp: if the trend is UP (at least M15 trend is up), and then i see MMs whack the price to the lower side just below the key SR (1/1; 1/2, 1/4, or 3/4 level) it could be MMs add more longs at the lower level. Its mean, MMs probably interest the higher level to closed their longs and open shorts. So the question is, where roughly MMS will do it? So i need the big picture on higer TF to get the clue.
2. So, I will try to find another clue on H1. Based on H1 TF i see there is a potentially Double top, If MMs want the higher level may be they would rise the price further to the previous consolidation area (H1) and the double top created. And i assume that on that previous highs (previous consolidation area on H1) is an area of the shorts order queue placed by MMs, MMs would rise the price to that level area to fill the order queue then run their shorts from the highs.
3. And then I will back to lower TF which i used for trade (in this case i used M5). For examp, on my first block trade (see my ss), u can see that MMs whack the price back to below key SR (whole level 124.000 - 1/4 level 123.750) and create new swing low (AD). And then i split the leg of the swing into 4 small block (equal) so its create 1/1 AD (as highs), 1/4 AD, 1/2 AD, 3/4 AD, 1/1 AD (as lows). This smaller block help me to read the market tendency base on the certain swing, and help me to place the setup point, and exit point. I tend to place my order arround the 1/2 level of the swing AD, 1/4 level of the swing AD, or the last is 1/1 (lows) of the swing AD. then i decide the exit point for my SL (it could be mental SL) arround the -1 1/2 of the swing AD or in other words is 1/2 level below the lows of the swing. OR, sometimes just - 1 1/4 of the swing. For TP, 3/4 level of the swing or some time 1 1/4 of the swing, 1 1/2 of the swing will be my target. And for note, it depends how the PVSRA clues, sometimes not exactly like this, it depends on how PVSRA clues in the next future. the final target is the previous consolidation area which i read from H1 (double top potential); as long as the price does not enter the area I would just long on this pair. And if the double has been created, i'll waiting for the next clues to conclude. its need practice. Cz the swing we have to analized is relative, depending on our thoroughness and on which side we see.

Hi leentjai, sorry don't really understand your reply, however your picture tells me you are bullish due to the mm pushing high. Is my interpretation correct? Your picture shows the super high volume giving clues that mm are trying to push up...?
