Someone on this thread was kind enough to code it - I find it a really useful tool.....
Shows setups forming for different time frames -
So if you open a EUR USD Chart - It will show you whats coming up whether its a 15m Buy or a Monthly buy ....

When your on 1 minute charts your only really scalping....Even though I get a kick out of it - It would be better for you to go higher.

Hello Marco I have that on my list to look at, when you say we have important news this week will you stay out or are you going to trade this soon?

I had the DS cross in my sights on daily but im new to this so someone experienced like you may be able to give me some pointers.

DS cross on daily tf plus a x cross weekly tf (at the same time) is almost foolproof setup (if not 100% A grade trade really).
If you are not sure,trade with lowest lot possible and see how plays out.
As you progress with time you will gain confidence with this system and you will "see" what the market will do in a nearer future.

I have come across this divergence on the GBPJPY - maybe I'm being a bit premature but I'll be watching it

Hi,
I wonder if USDJPY H4 DS divergence is starting to move in the right way:
Scalping M5 based on that (Thank you to the friend who posted the divergence) - Anyway, i like to enter when adx is showing power before price gets to the bollinger bands.

hi guys
i take this trade last night on daily time frame but today i notice that adx start losing some power on 4h and 1h
but the higher time( D/W/M) still in power
what do you think guys should i exit from this trade with loss or follow the HTF with patience

Hey guys long time follower first time poster just wanted to say a big thanks to Alien and everyone else who contributes as this is one of the best posts I've come across and i have read alot!

Anyway my question is to peeps who are trying to trade and also do their 9-5 job at the same time. I'm trying to make the most of my trade time but feel i don't have a sufficient strategy at the moment to do this whilst working so was wondering:-

 

  1. How many pairs do you have open in MT4 at anyone time?
  2. How often do you check MT4 for possible trades, do you have alerts for this?
  3. Do you primarily use longer time frames (H1, H4) for initial observation?
  4. Do you even trade during the day or find evening a better time to focus more?

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

as many as my system can manage without getting too sluggish

visual check on the alien indicators

daily -> if signal then 4hr -> if signal then 1hr -> if signal then enter order

Only in the morning and in the evening. (prior to 09:00 and after 20:00

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!
