I was watching the EUR/USD 5 Min it confirmed 2 long entries and both repainted the white dot fractal both would of been losses. Yes I know before i execute is fine, the only issue I had was it repainted after a trade confirmed. How long have you been trading this? and does the repainting issue happen often?

My analysis on EU and GU, AUD

GU and EU: M2/M4

M2 locates in the area of the lower channel ( blue area) that where we want price goes to build the signal

But price might change to other way if there are big news.

TMA and repainting

For all of you who are concerned about the TMA repainting, I attached for you a pic. It shows what would happen, when we replace the TMA with a LWMA of the same period. The LWMA is the golden line and would be the centerline. Difference for entry criteria: Zero. Difference for white circles in the past: Zero. Readability: TMA much better, shows the trend better too, IMO. TMA adjusts it's width according to highs and lows.

What are the take profit rules? Do you usually try to let it run to the upper limit of the band?

Would it make sense to add a Price alert to TMA TradeMon ? Eg. Alert me when Price is greater than n.n or less than n.n ?

I don't know what you guys are talking about a bit confused. Here is an image circled in red where the white circle repainted, multiple times one of the times it wouldn't have mattered because no trade was triggered, but it happened 2x before today where a trade triggered and then it repainted and you would of been stopped out.

So I don't understand what you are talking about saying it doesn't repaint, the indicator even marks it in a small x when it repaints, SSChannel3 indicator repaints for me.

I thought this is what triggers a potential trade does it not?

I know about fractals, I also know that they repaint, so I don't understand why you guys are making a big joke like I am saying something wrong about repainting.

Below on EUR/USD the Round dot repainted 3 times. I am not talking about THE CHANNEL repainting, I am talking about the fractal Circle indicator. Are we using this for entries even though it repaints?

So basically as long as the big circle appears start looking for trades, don't worry about the repainting as long as a valid signal is produced correct?

yes, we use the circles as one of more signals to get a valid entry.

hi, i will share but i'm still working on it. atm i'm experimenting with using volume as additional reversal confirmation. it seems to work. need still some time.

I use the SS Channel V1.03, and yes it does repaint. That's not a problem though so long as you don't use that solely to take the trade. BUT, it MUST be present along with other signals.

In my case I need 3 other "confirmers".....examine post 2992 to understand how you could use it with your preferred indicators or pa.

About "volume " I still have question about it.... the forex volume , you got from mql4 or broker.

Isnt it just trade data from single one broker? It is not cover all market. It just part of whole market.
I spend lot time to read about "sonic trade system" in ff here. Yes, I believe volume trade can help us to check trend way to define market.
volume decrease but price getting higher that mean market is going to change trend.

That's major reason that I dont think volume can work in forex. It can use for stock, or other really market. But forex.. I dont know.

Have anyone think about it?

volume in forex is tick data. how many ticks / candle. it cannot come from your broker alone, in such a case you would see price gaps. it says a lot about the momentum of a candle. i use this for reversal confirmation on m1 and m5 atm.

All indicators indicate! If volumn happens to be one of your preferred indicators then use it, but quite frankly they are all pretty much tell the same story...some are more sensitive than others that's all.

Either way, throwing more and more indicators on a chart will not help imo....in fact will create more indecision i'd say.

My advice is simply use as few as possible, but make sure you understand them. The SS channel in my view is your starting point btw, the leader!...a very strong indicator if used in tandem with supporting indicators.
