The Volume Detective

I figure if I made a trade explorer it would cut down on my stupid trades, since it's open to the whole world. We'll see if I can even get the trades on and on my futures account at the same time, I don't look at the mt4 too often, although I was surprised to see FX volume helping me in a few major spots that futures volume failed. Mt4 still feels like a straight jacket compared to Sierra, rather annoying.

Next step after basic stop run confirmation set up is firmly set in stone, I want to get a setup written out that just involves engulfing candles and tests @ important zones. Like so:

A LVT on top of HG showing very strong demand via a complete lack of supply. This is variety of LVT is on top of HG and not inside or at the bottom, I'm slowly cataloging the different types of LVT and hope to find some interesting facts about them. To me they seem like the most important type of candle, or a close second vs WRB.

Reasons for not shorting a bigger demand zone. See the VHV upthrust into previous supply zone? Probably a good place to look for a short, yet price is creating higher lows, demand zones, and HG's in it's wake up to this supply zone. This also shows one major way S&D zones flip, well they don't really flip, and supply doesn't become demand but demand is created where there was previous supply, so it's basically the same thing. I'm officially sick of looking at charts for the first time, time for some chess.

Another good example of the low volume candles showing strong S&D zones. It's the lack of Supply or Demand that create a lot of these zones.

Not quite the confirmation entry setup but it was a LVT, took long but the shake out got me.

Almost got ran over. I saw these LVT's and saw them confirming to upside, just so biased to short side I didn't put a long on. Took off the short at least...

your trading style is very similar to mine, short term stuff. You should check out NADEX, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Ah, I don't know a thing about that stuff. I'd like to hold trades longer, it's something I'm working on actually haha.

An easy miss if only looking at spot FX.

5m confirming entry. It confirmed down better on futures, a bit. I bailed at HG and demand zone via LVT.

FinFX 1m data is so much smoother and easier to read than F XCM. F XCM is more true and accurate like an interbank feed (they always have a lot more shadows the more feeds that are aggregated together), but it's harder to read. Today they both failed and excelled in different areas. Too bad Sierra only has an F XCM feed.
