Monitoring my psyche: Yaed's journal

I thought i would use this to record whats going on with me and how i am performing. All times given are swedish time, so its GMT +1.

2015 06 03
8-10: I slept well, 7.5 hours or so. All is well, i am very calm, i do great. I know exactly what to do.
10-12: I get agitated, a bit restless, a bit tired.
11:48-13:49: I place a few positions. They dont do so good. Price seems kind of uncomprehensible. I try to rest, watch some half stupid, high budget TV shows. There is this dude that for no apparent reasons goes mental and locks his girl up. There is a secret among some of the elders in the village that has been surrounded by some yet unexplained, invisible dome. The show agitates me somehwat. I get no good rest. I do transcendental breathing. Makes no difference.

13: 50: I hit the shower. At 15:15 i need to go to my car and drive to my dayjob. I think having an income that surpass possilble trading losses calms me somewhat.

14:33: Tommorrow i will experiment with excluding/including variables like nicotine, coffeeine, carbohydrates, protein, fat, water, sleep.
Right now i am somewhat less agitated. Not so tired. Maybe the shower did something.

21:03: Trading was fucking awesome today.

Sounds like something novel in the section dominated with pics and numbers.

2015 06 04
08:26 Work at 11, have the car on site so 15 minutes less to walk to the parking. Equals 2 hours and 30 minutes of trading. Damn have to put gasoline in the car, -5 minutes equals 2 hours and 25 minutes.

20:28 Im done trading. In total its a slight loss today.

2015 06 05
Slept well, eggs and bacon, tripple latte for breakfast.
At this point trading is pretty much only abot soul searching and getting to recognize my own states of mind/being. This is so because i have found out that when i am calm and collected, i trade well. Very well. When im tired and agitated i trade badly, very badly. Also, if i a calm i use few positions but most of them do good. When i am agitated i place a lot of positions and its about 50/50.

2015 06 09
Other things has been going on. Going away for a week with my woman and son on the weekend. Thats going to be kick ass.
Anyway, what i need to keep in mind is:
WHERE ARE THE BUYERS?
WHERE ARE THE SELLERS?
If i can keep that in mind, it seems all is well.

2015 06 10
There is no better teacher then a bit of loss on the account. Really makes made me think. And then i got it. I think. Because after that, 17 wins, 2 loss.
When i loose its because i stop thinking about where the sellers are and where the buyers are. When i loose like... in a bit of a row of losses. 3-10 wins and then a loss here or there, thats nothing, that im going to have to take.

2015 06 11 Attitude eureka!
This makes it 5.000 posts. Anyway, i learned something today: My attitude to my trades is the most important thing. It needs to be sort of detached, sort of "I dont care about this particular trade, i know i will be good all over eventually." When ever my attitude gets set to "It HAS to work." then i have loosing streaks. And my statement sort of proves it with 10 winners in a row and then like 5 losses in a row. Thats NOT very supported by chance/random type explanations. Thankfully, because i am smart it didnt cost a lot to learn that, only a few euros.

Well i will be gone until after mid summer.

2015 06 23
Vacation is over. I thought a lot about unarmed combat and how i will make it work 2 months from now. I have have seen charts in my dreams the last 2 nights. It seemed simple in my dreams. The hedgefunds and banks try to train neural network EAs and such things, but as of yet no synthetic brain has even come close to a human one. The problem with the humans are the "feelings", and this is what they try to circumvent. A human without the fog of "feelings" should in any case be better then any such as of yet, very simple AI.

2015 07 16 and 2015 07 17
Yesterday i was really tired and traded anyway, didnt work out so well. Today i have a few hours and today im pretty well rested. So lets see if it makes a difference.

Right now my mind feels very clear. I have a deep sense i know what im doing. Yesterday i didnt.

Thats OK. Not great but ok.

Actually this is very much mechanical trading.

Technical update

Empirically it seems M15 highs and lows dont matter too much, so i stick to M30, H1, H4. D1 is too slow to care about for intraday. Have a look at the most recent high and low.

I guess i get it now, what neio was talking about.

Anyway, one technical update every 30 minutes isnt too heavy on the brain department. Once trades are entered use for example M15 or M30 evidence of controry move to the positions open.

If you want to know how to work it in practice, study todays statement.
Anyway im a technical anlyst, not a trader. Id prefer not to trade. Anyhow, doing it this way a quite simple EA could do it.

Mind you this is VERY precise trading, 1 pippette matters. Take into account broker difference/inaccuracy.

For what i know, this is the ONLY way to trade profitably.
