No it depends on pairs.

Most of the time I trade GU. The spread is 4 pips. I need only 20 pips a day + 4 spread = 24 pips

this strategy works very well - scalped 11 pips in 1 hour - 3 scalps. zero losses . pips are net, spread is already paid. ok, I know ...

You need to well know the pair and be aware about news. Wait for a extreme price ( TMA ), wait for a possible reverse ( SS Channel ). Go ahead and be happy with any positive pips. I want to do better but this works for me as well. Trend is not important for this, IMO. S/R is important.

1 scalp on NU on M5 for 10 pips.

Tonight, the currencies move very aggressively. Scalping is the option

Congratulation ! Yes, scalping is an option and IMO, a very different animal. Price is important as well.

Let's say EURUSR approaches THE FIRST TIME 1.09500. You can be 99.99% sure, some people want a higher price and will go up. You can be 99.99% sure, some People want a lower price and will go down. This works for me when the move is not a spike and I do this early, not 10 times after it occurred for the first time.

However, I'd like to trade according to a good system, your system .

I don't know. At this time I do what I can ( scalp ) and wait until Sai Ram sends a signal. This is the way I can learn most. Yesterdays I took 2 of his trades, both have been winners. I exited prematurely though. I hope Sai Ram can share for a few days.

Hi V...quick question. How do you treat S/R in your trading using DTDT in terms of the Mid S/R levels between each major S/R? Sorry let me put it anohter way...do you use the Mid S/R levels to determine your trades or just rely on the major levels?

I respect them, same as Major S/R's. I don't make a difference and don't trade or go for a reversal, when they are ahead at a short distance. I ignore the quarterly. Thus I only trade(d) one pair, monitored the price a lot and believe the S/R's are useful, it's quite some experience and I will continue with this. Quarterly R/S I ignore.

That's why I appreciate to respect the usage of Pivots in the monitor ( by using time candles ). Fibos are interesting as well, but we need to go step by step. I investigated in the S/R indi today, I can do it.
