Quoting BeachBumDislikedAlways apply the truism: "Let the buyer beware". Having said that, it is possible to purchase 10 or 12 markets for less than $1000. After trying these, you can add more markets at discounted prices. And you can always call VP and switch markets at no charge. You can rotate the markets you have to find the ones that work best for you. I have often wondered who really needs all 60+ markets from VP. How many can a person trade profitably on a daily basis? I have 10 markets and that keeps me very busy....and I have switched markets several times to refine my selection to the ones that work best for me. Something to think about.

Quoting zarniDislikedBB what are you performance stats on the system the past couple of months? As far as I recall early June the system was not doing too well.Ignored
Quoting shungosDislikedThanks zarni, I'll look that over too. When I Just used the NI as a buy sell indicator I actually only got around 50% on average with none over about 54%. The way I got the 74% was to cross check if the NI matched the actual index as calculated by the previous 2 days closes being higher or lower than the actual next 2 days closes.

Quoting thesstDislikedActually, I just talked to a VP rep about that about a week ago... they're changing that policy (now you'll only be allowed to change out markets once, then there will be a charge for switching markets).

Quoting BeachBumDislikedNot sure what you mean.........what "EA"?

Whats the point of that one?Ignored
Quoting ut2DaMaxDislikedYou were working on a system called ... Set and Forget .... correct? I talked to VP and they wanted 3k for two markets ... for Pairs Forex and Curriencies for example. I sorta gave up on it then ... not knowing how much it would help? Thanks!Ignored

Quoting foggyTraderDislikedHi Guy's,
Just wanted to post my final reply as I have given up on getting VP to work. I bought it back in December last year with high hopes. However, 9 months down the line and many hours of hard work in my opinion has been a waste of time. Ok, BB claims to work the system well with good profit and good luck to him but I also tried BB's system for a while with different results. Anyway, I contacted the VP sales people and told them I had tried everything I could for the last 9 months but still could not get any profit and they offered me a full refund. I got my refund two days ago and I am just glad not to loose everything. Personnaly I think you would be as well flipping a coin. Good luck everyone and I do sincerely hope you get VP to work, I'm off to get a real job, as they say "don't give up your day job". (which seems appropriate where VP is concerned)

Quoting williamkDislikedHi BB and all still on this thread.
I have been trading Forex for going on 3yrs and developed a mechanical system myself generating a average of 300pips a month on average backtested for almost 5yrs. I am always looking to improve my edge (because thats all it is). So I found
I just purchased VP and read all the treads on it(I think). I have downloaded Ur spreadsheet for Set & Forget. I have a couple of ?s.
1) I am familiar with Stochs but can U post a screen shot on the 4hr that was a GO for U and a NOT Go trade.
2) When U place the orders @ the updating say a Short and a Long orders together or do U pick a direction and place a long if the 4hr is saying long?
Thanks
Bill
PS: I hope U don't mind me picking Ur brainIgnored
Quoting BeachBumDislikedKevin..........
Sorry to read that you have decided to quit VP, I hope you do not quit Forex trading. Getting a refund from VP should soften the disappointment, and I think it shows that the company is reputable. If the software was "junk", everyone who bought it would be in line for a refund.
For the rest of you following this discussion: I stand by what I have written about using VP as a successful trading tool (I have no association or affiliation with the company). VP helps me trade profitably on a daily, consistent basis. But it HAS taken me a lot of time and a lot of work to get to this point. However, I have never participated in any profession that was "a walk in the park". And I am continually refining my use of VP. I do not trade the same VP strategy today that I did three months ago. So if you have VP..........work it! Or perhaps I should say..........make it work for you!
I have enjoyed our personal communications Kevin, and as a recent college grad, I wish you the very best! I hope you don't leave Forex trading behind........be a part of the 5%!Ignored
Quoting foggyTraderDislikedThanks for the kind words BB, I also enjoyed our personal emails. Hopefully once I have a full-time job and a bit of stability I may rejoin the VP quest. For now however, I plan to just do one trade per month the no-brainer that is NFP day.
Good luck for the future
