I don't see the point of having it there it's basically pointless...it will just repaint and repaint until it finds a top or bottom..

it doesnt repaint as easily as the stoch and rsicolor indicators.. the one that doesnt repaint for sure for bars back is fijitrend

FX TrendBand MTF v1.05 update

Hi, I figured that alerting with this indicator could be a annoying experience

It alerted on the open candle, so that the trend alert during a trend change could be thrown quite often by the indictor. Alerting on the open candle is optional now, the default is to alert on the closed candle.

I really wish these indicators and template ran faster on mt4. Sometimes when the market is moving quick and it's busy my mt4 crashes and have to restart it and then am late for entering a trade

I killed the StochTrend Indi . For the sake of a better StochTrend Indi. Now I need a Name for it and wait if Sai Ram wants to see

Here it is . You Need to set it up like you want, the Stoch is 5,3.3 out of the box. It should help to avoid fake moves also. You get the signal when the Stoch returns from OS / OB.

I have an idea for an EA to help when the market is moving quick perhaps. what about coding a little Stop loss EA working with the renko channel indicator that sets stop loss 1 pip below or above the previous price level at what price it last touched. What do you think

Thanks ! If you have ideas to improve it, please let me know ! Later, we can do the same with the RSI as well, if that make sense . One quick question: Best Stoch Settings for M5 scalping ( candles ), please.

Try this stoch(11,3,3, H/L) when price trades in at least in the channel. Otherwise, you will suffer from the retracement.

One remark: This indi is intended to confirm entries. It does not care about trends. For this we have other indicators. In case Sai Ram thinks the indi is useful, I'll add alerts. It should be a NRP ( non repaint ) indiator and is coded completely new.

How many charts ? How many TMA indicators each chart ? You use TMA.mq4 / TMA.ex4 ? Charts are Renko Charts ?

I use that one tma indicator that comes with the DTDT template which has the 2 middle yellow lines and the 3 on the outter parts of the channel for the bands.
I'm not sure if it's an mq4 or ex4 it's whatever came with the template for DTDT
It is renko.

Once volatility happens and the market moves if theres action across all pairs the platform will just freeze up for atleast 5-10 seconds which causes a later entry point on a trade.

First, setup sounds good. Second, I only can guess. Too many charts for your machine. In case you use Renkos, try the EA attached. It has a Reduce CPU Load Switch ( enabled by default ).

Hi Traders,

Here you can see why you cannot use the Stoch alone as the entry signal. Price is overbought, it has crossed to down 3 times already but it does not come down yet, it continues to raise. This is what I try to catch when the new indi waits with the signal until the price comes back from overbought again. No guarantee though, just one additional check.

Thanks for your feedback, its appreciated.

Actually , I've entered a number of small position on various t/fs and pairs already with positive results.

I've attached a GN daily chart with my entry for a short from a couple of days back, once again a small position to see how it fairs on a difficult pair over a longer period.

I expect this trade will take some time, a week or two probably, and I may cut it short if PA doesn't go my way, but no rush on this one.

I noticed the FXStochEntry indi has been added, it looks a pretty good tool, but for now I'me happy to continue using the GannHiLo Histo, which does a similar job tbh.

Anyway, I thought my post may be of interest to someone.
