Hi jmn5611 Thanks for your comments. I’m not trying to suggest the indicator as an “improvement”. As I’ve said before I don’t really know the system, don’t know MT4 or know more than the very basics of MQL4 so I am not really qualified to suggest improvements to a system that already works very well. I would also say that if you trade live and have mastered the Alien system - which it sounds like you have - then you probably don’t need this indicator as you won’t need to worry about the effect of repainting and using price data before it printed. For newbies like me who often make mistakes and need to review trades frequently then this indicator may be of use.

The point of posting the indicator yesterday was to highlight that it seems that the re-painting does appear to generate some historic DS, and to get confirmation from someone competent in MQL4 that the indicator I uploaded doesn’t repaint.

I certainly wouldn’t use it for trading until you get this reassurance.

Note also the issue that heispark had with the indicator I posted yesterday. More on this soon I hope.

I quickly checked whether the waveforms in the norepaint DDS would be adverse to the essence of what that window should represent I have found that they do not, so in my opinion a norepaint DDS would be an improvement in the tools. It's good that a coder came along and bothered with shoring that up. FerruFx had said that the repainting does not matter and I agree with this, but, for the particular, you have taken that out of the equation and that is to be commended.

Hi heispark Thanks for the comment on the indicator I posted. To be honest working out exactly why this has happened is beyond my ability in debugging in MQL4, and I still don't really understand how and why this indicator works. This is part of the reason why I replied to bobbyspider recently.

I also couldn't replicate exactly the chart you provided. Please see my chart below which is what I see. Could you re-post our chart? Is the difference still there?

I will make a more general point about the lookback period tomorrow as this seems to be quite important on your H1 chart, but need to get some sleep now.

DS with clear separation from the RSIOMA, which remain below 50. The bad is that we are in a BB squeeze here. And there is a wide demand zone that is being well respected thus far. I would play this by waiting for the 8,3,3 stoch to cross the 21 to the down side. The ADX matrix should be powering up by then. {image}
The best trade would the RSIoma below 20 and staying there.................

They both show PA divergence.

I promised a couple of helpful people here that I would upload my template, so here it is, with voice alerts. Make sure you go to the Events tab in your MT4 and disable them so the .wav files will play for you.

Many thanks. I am reading for 2 days now and playing with it. I am astonished by the simplicity and accuracy.
In attach a divergence on GBPCAD h1 chart (between rsioma and delayed stoch).
I believe this is what we search for?
Please corect me if i am wrong.

Correct, this is one of several ways to trade. There are many systems and ideas to use for trading that work and help you find grade "A" trades..............

If you can read code, I believe that the RSIOMA is in mq4 format, so you just open it up and have look.
