EU +61+40+79. Done for the day.

How did I know that price would turn at this level. Look at the 4Hr chart the level is obvious.
I tried a method of adding to a trade today called "Layering" it is pretty obvious how it works, so instead of starting with just 1 contract and taking half off, I started with 1 contract, then later added another and another.
I am not sure that I felt comfortable adding trades as priced moved, but practice makes complacent so if I carry on with this method not only will I make loads more money but eventually it will become second nature.

Post your bloody charts, let us see what you are doing, if you are losing, the worst that can happen is that I call you a "Dickhead" others will be more polite and offer advice which might actually help your trading!!

Fantastic results yet again, I am using FXpro and my charts are somewhat different to yours, but should still be making better trades than I do. Will dig out the post from earlier where you mention your broker and set up an account with them. Think if my feeds are same as your it will help me.

Post a chart from FXpro, it would be interesting to make a comparison. This unfortunately is one of the major problems with Forex Trading, it is NOT a level playing field, broker data feeds can be significantly different not just because they choose different starting times for the first candle of the day, but also because they filter the data (manipulate) each in their own way.

Hi Dee,

I take your point and to be honest if I am wanting to gain from this forum I should be contributing more. My charts are a bit of a mess just now, will try to tidy them up today and hopefully be able to post something tomorrow.

Curious what type of rules you all have related to trading around the news? Ex: minutes before or after? Non-related pairs are ok or not? Etc.

EU +31. EU ongoing. You need the patience of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (fill in the blanks) This last trade is either going to run down or it is a pullback leading back into the uptrend, either way I am at B/E +2 so I do not care.

EDIT. That did not take long stopped for B/E. Frustrating as it may be to get stopped at B/E I have virtually no losses to deal with and there is nothing to say I can not re enter.

Did you take this trade because price went below the last swing that I've highlighted in yellow, aswell as the BRN, after an extended up move? Also on the 10pip Renko HTF it topped out a bit above there and we hit the top of a channel.

Edit: Just looked back, looks like there is a 123 there also (I have never traded 123's before) Nice, they removed my 'posts under review status' after 2 posts, so I no longer have to wait hours for my posts to come through..

More or less. Plus look for the Divergences and the 10 pip chart Stochs failure to break above 50 showing no upward momentum combined with 5 pip chart stoch coming down from OB.

Hi Dee. How do you know generally when is time to scalp for 10-12pips and when is time to keep it longer for 50+ pips?
I cant TPs set right...and when I see your trades, you milk almost every cent....
Keep this thread alive...amazing trader you have become... Unfortunately I trade this method on job sometimes when is quiet. I waiting probably pension or fire from job to give it serious try .

EU News +64+71. Both my orders got slipped by quite a few pips, but then price did jump 37 pips in 1 minute so under the circumstances you can expect a bit of slippage with "market orders".
Closed out my second trade manually on major divergence just 1.5 pips shy of my TP

QUE?? Am I missing something?? You are much better at the HTF analysis than I am, but H&S with an angled neckline against the predicted direction IME generally do not work out.

Hi Folks,

I'm Using Fxpro (Demo), might need to change though as its losing connection quite a lot and it differs a bit from Dee's The screen below is the 10/5/3 pip renkos with MACD/Stoch indicators. I have a zigzag indi on the charts to try and help me identify turning points. Not much in the way of PIPS (12 today!) compared to others on the forum but early days and hopefully it's something for others to think about

I'm thinking about your observation ...
i'm not very experienced in these types of pattern, and yes is a prob inversion pattern.
then you say H&s yes, but in the direction of the trend (and rightly so) ...
but I did not understand about neckline

Even if the news had not been Dollar negative, price would have probably risen any way. HTF Pennant with a 123 breakout. Do not forget the bigger picture, there are so many threads where the emphasis is on the moment and they wonder why they are only picking up 10-15 pips, if they are lucky. What governs what price is likely to do is how many traders are looking at a particular aspect and time frame and believe me there are not nearly as many traders looking at the lower time frames than you think, even if all retail traders were trading the 1 minute chart () that would still only be 30% of the traders and the other 70% have much deeper pockets, so who do you think has the most influence.
So stop watching the minnows and start watching the sharks.
