Hi FF! Here is a really cool EA. I don't have a lot of M1 or M5 data but it tests well on the data I have. Give it a try if you like!

First one to a million gets a dollar from me LOL!

You can open up the EA in your MetaEditor to see the notes I have left. Scroll down near the bottom of the EA to see specific entry criteria (which you can change if you want )

Good luck...

Also, recommended currency pair is EURUSD. And a spread of around 0.7 or less works best...

I use the version in post 1 just as uploaded. I haven't tried to optimize it in the backtester yet. I'm not sure exactly how to do that. Did I mention I'm the President of MetaQuotes? LOL! (Just joking MetaQuotes, you're the best. )

Thanks for sharing your EA I'm also a fan of Martingale strategy, and I have developed an EA that trades intraday breakouts with maximum 3 Marti levels. However, we all know that Martingale strategy works only in two cases:
1) with unlimited deposit;
2) with an edge that makes sure there will be no more than N consecutive losses, which means if N consecutive losses happen, then, for sure, (N+1)th trial will be profitable. But this is equivalent with a Holy Grail system: if we know that after N consecutive losses, the next trade would be profitable, we don't need to do martingale at the first place! In this case, we just need to sell all our properties, and wait for the N consecutive losses (on a demo account for example), and then invest all our money into the next trade. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that the next trade will be profitable. So, soon or late any Martingale strategy with limited deposit is doomed to fail.
Trading is the hardest way to make easy money...

MathTrader7 is right on this one. I actually traded Blessing for more than two years without getting wiped out, which has to be an all-time record for a martingale. The problem was that I had to constantly intervene, manually, plus re-fund my account a number of times, whenever my margin ran low. And that was with 200:1 leverage. Now, being a US citizen, I'm limited to 50:1, which makes the strategy even more dangerous.

Make sure you run the EA only in demo, because you will be glad you did when the death trade comes knocking.

Any case, I doubt that this code will make you become rich , moreover it is a risky algo.

Right man ! But how long do you plan to test these bots ? The point is: they may perhaps run really good for months even until suddenly the last day - I call it "waterloo" - will become and you loose all what you could win during the months before together with your starting capital !

Could martinggale be profitable? Just a wild idea:
What if you are taking profit regularly and take your losses in time.

Start with initial deposit of 100%
as soon as you increase to 200%, you take out half, getting you back to 100%.
Determine "N" consecutive losses when apparently your strat does not work for you in this market. Then stop and sit it out until you strat works again (or you find better strat).

I am not a mathematician, but this scheme looks to get you a long way.

In the end, the bank always wins though. But play with money you can afford to loose, and the odds should look better than a casino.
Maybe just lucky enough to buy that new home cinema set you are after.... without actual "saving" for it.

But honestly, martingale is not my cup of tea. I've seen several times my demo accounts grow rapidly until unprecedented tops. Leaving me thinking I could stop my day-job. But then they would tumble down to a margin-call even more quickly.

So...If I showed you 4 years of live data trading a martingale without blowing up an account...would you believe?
