what does (mark the price up , mark the price down ) mean ?
example :
A large trader who has been accumulating an individual stock or a section of the market can mark prices down

A more aggressive trader might begin to accumulate on a position basis at these levels.

Fundamentally QE remains in effect and will be in effect for a substantial period of time, so if Russia (Ukraine) Oil and other risks remain mooted, I would still look to the upside in the longer term. I think the DAX has more to do. However this approaching a decade bull-run is certainly adding to skittishness. We can't forget the Greeks and Euro-area deflation risks as downside bumps these should really present as buying opportunities for longer term equity focussed traders. (imo_)

Support test coming off fresh high's. Better to watch and wait for strength. There is better support lower down / uptrend broken, if you have other things to do.... rather do those than this.

suppose you're a corporate shareholder (not really a trader) you can align option strikes at a level above their initial accumulation or the reverse. In this fashion you can signal interest to the market at those levels and attempt to move price in your favour. This doesn't really work that well to the upside But if its a large company with open public interest then the market forces will be larger than any single trader.... Unless they have controlling interest or capital in a penny stock.... The debate here is 1 hypothetical and 2 of no real relevance to trading. You would only see this in the news flow around a company such as merger and acquisition or in the context of a C-level Executive starting to swing their bat in smaller mid cap shares. (Or George Sorros shorting GU vs the Bank of England <- its a good story)

You wont gain any edge out of the above in the trading game though.

HI all,

Nice to see a ALSI thread on FF,

I hope my contributions will help the forum to learn this market.

we starting to see the 48450 prior resistence showing its effects on the chart now.
Ideally looking for closes below 48100 for more confirmation that the short trend is still intact.

from there we can see a move for lower low attack.

Entry is long at End of Day.
Stop @47'252
Will then swing the stop and post when relevant

This is a calm, slow, small position, leave to go and manage every other week type of trade, so no sparks.
2% risk 5% risk 10% risk all up to the trader But do execute the stop
