The reasoning behind my trade I was looking at the weekly chart and decided to mentally switch of from the lower time frames as the noise can give you headache at times and I've not got much chart time, as I was looking I thought what would I do if it was a 5 min? FOMC at 7pm (uk).

I'm sure many or all of you have watched some or many of Sam Seiden's recorded webinars. Did you notice how he posted his winnings in $$$ for everyone to see? Is this a bad thing? I don't think so. Is it bragging? Maybe a bit but I don't think he was just bragging. He was showing what is possible. Sam traded mostly the futures market. He was in and out usually pretty quickly with a tidy profit that he displayed for everyone to see.

Ive been reading this thread and another on here about this sort of trading method. Could you guys tell me is it totally legit? Ive read elsewhere that its all very subjective and a bit smoke and mirrors. They also said that sams stuff is so vague that its done specifically to get people to the paid course and most of the stuff on fxstreet will make you fail anyway.

Remember this isnt my belief but as a new guy to this method I would like to know if it genuinely works.

Some good questions. Sam is one of the first if not the first to recognize supply and demand trading. Red took it to levels not matched since his departure. I have no doubt Sam's videos are meant to peak interest in his academy which is very expensive. Red admits to being in his webinar but I don't know if he actually paid to go there.

There is no method that is guaranteed to work. Red showed that s/d trading can work. Yet few have been able to publicly duplicate what he did. I have developed a strategy using much of what Red has taught. I've tweaked what he did to suit me by using a little VSA, J16 and gut feelings. So legit is all in the mind of the trader trading the method.
