{quote} Hello Aus1way, I didn't sell at the area you have marked as I was looking to buy on a retracement. However the market seems to always do something different than what I expect which oddly enough I now expect. Hehe. Price moved into and past the first demand zone with high volume. Without getting into the details of VSA (of which I am no guru) price and volume did not suggest buying. However as price retraced price and volume suggested price might continue to sell off which it did throughout the day. I based my sells on much lower time frames...

Hi Winston, I have seen your work in many threads and always appreciate your charts and analysis that comes with them......I did have a question as far as your S/D zones....you say you use a higher TF to mark these.....in your opinion what TF do you think has a good or solid zone that is respected more often....I understand the higher monthly and weekly would top all but for a shorter time frame trader what have you found out to work the best for maybe someone that is a swing, short term, or intraday trader. Thanks for any reply that you may offer.

Supply/Demand is effective across all time frames. You must choose the time frame/s that fit into the time you have to trade. It is incorrect to assume that s/d is better in some time frames than others. Perhaps this is not the answer you were seeking but it is the truth. Find the time frame/s that work with your lifestyle.

Hi Binyamin,
First let me say I don't trade per RTM.

My trades are taken in areas of interest, namely supply and demand zones. The short scalp was taken in an H1 supply zone even though you point out an engulf of a 5 min zone. Price moved down with high volume and I was in. The long was after a pinbar with high volume with buying in the background.

Good trades! Why do you go no lower demand?

Not sure about your question but I think you are asking why I didn't enter in the zone. I look at volume for confirmation. I don't automatically enter when price hits a zone.

I'm not in this one but this is something I would consider. I can't watch the trade so I'll pass. Also low volume overall at this time so....

Target 1 hit. I would have had only 1 contract on this trade but if I had 2 contracts then target 2 is shown. Will consider trading short at target 2. Notes on the chart. Hope it's helpful.

Supply/Demand comprises the foundation for my trades. Ballyhooed by many J16 type bars at the right place, the right time with the right volume are gold. Volume helps to verify and confirm PA when at the correct location. MACDs, RSIs, etc. etc. are lagging indicators. Volume is not. Volume is the missing link to my s/d trading. I recommend anyone to research it.
