Hello all,

could anyone tell me if the pinbar with red star above is a good place for short entry. If yes why? If not, why not? Please don't scroll back to your charts - I have intentionally removed dates and values.

Dark-blue horizontal dotted lines are round numbers (50's and 00's)
Light-blue horizontal dashed lines is previous day low/high
Red moving average - ema 10
Yellow - ema 800
Light blue - ema 200
Yellow dashed - ema 50

that is a doji and not the typical pin bar ...

took 2 trades on the hourly as I woke up late and missed the 15 min trades. Trades were done some 10-20 mins ago

Hi Emmanuel, thank you for reply. Have a printed version of Nison's book but your pdf is to the point.


What I struggle with with this system is filtering out bad trades such as circled ones - not sure if you would call the once circled in the first circle pinbars but entering there wouldnt work out quite well. Second one is right yesterday low so probably not an ideal entry for that reason but other than that could be a good entry?

i've read this thread up till page 9 , the method is good very suitable for a person like me who targe only 20pips -30 if can but the i skipped to page 1173 cuz im quite busy can someone here would be so kind give me the sumarize of this method cuz i , somewhat feel like this method ady developed . Is this method is still using 800 EMA and TDI and 200 EMA? or there's newer version for this method . Thanks guys

From what I understand thus far (I am also trying to play catchup)

The 200 EMA is used to determine the overall short-term trend.

PA Above 200 EMA = Look for Longs
PA Below 200 EMA = Look for Shorts

TDI is used to confirm Price Action.
Look for 1-2-3 / Pullbacks / Candlestick Patterns
Determine Support & Resistance

LE1 explained in his post#1 the use of 10EMA on M15 chart for trading.
The 200EMA is the 50EMA of the H1
the 800EMA is the 50EMA of the H4

What is most important is the price action and its 10EMA on D1.

This is one of the basics ot this method.
