Hi HP, the chart is the same with that of seller's now. But the problem is, the indicator creates the offline chart with no name. Hence, I can't attach your indicator Basket MTF.

Give it another shot.
This happened to me once but after that not anymore.
The Split C7 as well as dragging the C7 to the buy or sell basket generates the correct names now.

fibo v1.05

- Added params so you can force the fibo start and end into the current day (discarding previous session).
- Box color option
- Using the Up/Dwn button (top left fibo box corner) you can override the by fibo selected direction.

Hi HP,

I just downloaded the new BasketWriter and wanted to (re)write some of the baskets I already had made using the previous version.
For that I want to also delete some of the open indies that the basket writer created, but there are 2 problems:

  1. None of the created indies identifies which basket it belongs to. Is it possible to include the created basket name inside the indies inputs so we know which indie is related to which basket?
  2. Another issue is related to creating more than one basket of the same pairs, but in different timeframes. If I have the same basket open in H1 and H4, how to differentiate between them if only the first part is considered for the name of the basket? If I want to manage a trade of the same basket but in more than one timeframe, how do I do this?

Mmmm.

For now you can use the "fixedbasket" and fill in the basketname there but i will find a better way to manage the indicators.
If you have the same basket open in different timeframes the charts will have a different name so that should not be a problem.

BTM takes the chart (name+timeframe) to manage the trades so that will also not be a problem.

If you look in MQL/files you'll see the one basketfile fi. BC1-05.txt and for every timeframe you use that basket on an #BC1-05#05xxx.txt is generated where xxx is the timeframe.

I will change BTM to use that ##.txt file and i will dispaly the timeframe in the BTM header.
Of course this means that in the tradecomment inputfield in BT_14_vxx you can;t use the simple basketname BC1-05 anymore but you have to use #BC1-05#0560 and #BC1-05#05240 instead.

Hi HP,

I'm still getting discrepencies between baskets created using your BasketWriter vs Sellers BasketWriter.
Check the 2 screenshots below. Both are Core5 H1.
They are both practically the same, except for the gap (on Sellers) for this weekend...
And the price levels (which are not real prices), shouldn't they be the same?
If the underlying data for both offline charts is the same, the mt4 platform should show exactly the same charts and same price levels, right?

Sellers basketwriter manipulates the prices so the average point is around 300 for every combinations of currencies.

I decided not to use that because i found some rounding errors while doing that.
Instead i add all the values (opens, closes etc) and divide them by the number of pairs in the basket.

Looks like you will not have enough on the 6 baskets BTM can manage......

Already made a provision for 9 baskets.

i use abokwaik's basketwriter but i want to try your writer. is your writer ea or script ?
how can i use your tool ? (please explain step by step )

More food for thought...

Will it be possible for you to change the kopra ea to make the "Manual Selection" baskets without having to drag to one of the existing sell/buy baskets?
I'm asking this, because these manual baskets are created for chart analyzing/trading.
It's logical that charts generated by/for the "Kopra Method" should work the way you've set things up, but not the "Manual Selection" charts.
The decision to go long or short on each of the manual baskets will only be made after analyzing the offline chart, SnR, channels, patterns, etc...
So if you could have a "create basket" button specific for the "Manual Selection" that would be great, since they're not a SS, SM, SC, BS, BM, BC type of baskets...
And if possible with a trader input field for easy identification of the offline charts (for example, I use USD3, USD4, EUR5, X10, etc...)

If I'm not being clear on what I mean, give me a shout and I'll try to explain things better.

BTM v1.01

- Config setting the expand the layout from 3x2 to 3x3 baskets (no fit screen guarantees).
- if you forgot to enter the basket name in the BT_14_v tradecomment field a basket will still be opened but the trades won't be found.
By clicking (extreem right outside the main box border) in the magicnymber input box you can enter the magicnumber which the corresponing BT_ is using and you trades will show.

Still not all buttons implemented yet (sorry).

no, no, noooo. i am aldready basket trader. i use lfx chart ( liteforex ) and abokwaik basketwriter.
i just want to test your basketwriter. your writer is ea or script and how can i create any basket.

Well kopratasa is the basket creator (an EA), use BDM (an EA) to check the selection,BT_14_vxx (an EA) to enter trades and BTM (an EA) to manages baskets.
Basket writer, fibo, Basket MTF,BDm helper are all indicators.

Many thanks for the new manual feature on kopra ea
It's exactly what I expected.

I have found some issues/questions with the new kopra ea and basket writer:

 

  1. I launched the new kopra ea (with H1 as default chart timeframe) and made a CORE5 H1 chart. But when I change the timeframe to H4 (using the onscreen buttons) and then click "manual" again to create the same chart (but H4) the ea does not work. It just stops and all buttons stop working (manual, reset, timeframes, etc...)

  1. When the basketwriter (v1.02) window pops up, I just click "ok" right? No need for any input...

  1. When I open the offline chart created with kopra ea/basket writer 1.02, the chart seems to update erractically and sometimes stops refreshing for long periods of time (more than 1 minute) and even sometimes stops refreshing, which makes it impossible to trade... The same chart created by other basket writers updates by the second and is a fluid chart. Is the refresh method different than other basket writers?
