Balls of steel and if I read it correctly, a lot of wisdom to combine with the 1H breakouts as well
The problem is not giving offence but taking offence!

{quote} hi Udine, since they are correlated pairs, wont entering them all at the same signal (same time) effectively mean you are increasing your total risk? so if price goes against you on one pair, it is likely the others will too, so you lose 8% in total...

Genie,

basically yes..

but there were less balls of steel than you think..

1. having all 4 pairs side by side and watching them move identically
2. was news (from Markiteconomics.com) the news that came out was this:
http://www.markiteconomics.com/Surve...91fd417b52764d
and was signalled on the NewsBrk indi
3. and that made the pairs move strongly and completely in sync, I was confident enough to enter in 4 pairs...

cheers

ok now I understand..

you use MCandlesSW and that shows only the present and not the past correctly..

replace the Mcandles SW with the #PriceToOpen indicator, that will show also correctly the past.

Some free advice from my side as well... although my advice is worth much less

But when markets are sticking around the DO line, especially when they have crossed over, come back, crossed over again. Its very risky to trade the DO cross level entry in this case.

The only DO cross I would trade is when markets are moving, there is a change in direction and market crosses that DO with strength... at the moment there is no momentum behind these crosses.

Thank you for your input Vlad.

I thought seeing that it moved 10 - 15 pips past the DO and have made new HH or LL, which ever the case might be, that it was having momentum and direction?

p.s. - Waar in Suid-Afrika bly jy?

True, but then again its just my opinion. Markets feel dead before FO so I tend to avoid.
