{quote} There are no "CLOSE" on both of the candlestick, is it deliberately left out? If yes, why??? Pls explain, thx. Q2) How do we make use of 3 variables only "OPEN HIGH LOW" to trade profitably???

After copying this candlestick image from the internet i have deleted the close not by mistake; the forex market can be seen from different perspective from the first price to until now like the image without close even if i know you will say we have different trade sessions and weeks and days; this does not mean that i mean to not use close in the calculations but to point out; i will try to write about cycles and price values ohlc to the best of my write ability.
And this was my first post which until now no one sees it.

I think that before any critisism we should wait for his conclusions; only at that moment we could have a full opinion about his concepts

The only we can actually know whether you, mark72 knows how to trade is by showing your track record. How about posting your P/L and then we can say you are eligible enough to be known as someone who knows how to trade.

He could do that if he wants to do it.....but as i see it he doesnt even have to post here.
You/I/and all others can watch his posts/ideas for free.
If we dont like his posts/ideas we dont need to watch the thread. Its that simple, just irgnore the thread.
But remember even if he is wrong with all he says YOU could get an IDEA out of his post that can help you with your trading. There is nothing better then an IDEA from yourself even if it was sparked by someone else posts.

You must take consideration of the information until now because it relates to trading in more than one way and i will explain; i am sure 100% that almost any trading system that has some basic principles can make money for the trader; it is very important to profit from trading all the time and do it for years to come because if we trade a system for a month it may be profitable but most systems in long term are losing or reach break even which is not a traders goal.
Even if a trader has loses it does not mean the system is not profitable and very profitable; for a trader to be profitable for long term, the trading system must be perfect and this mean to take in consideration more than one dimension in trading because pure price or indicator is not enough to conquer the vast and complex forex market. I want to talk about cycles in forex just as in nature but i realise that many will not understand the complexity of this so i will take it step by step and leave cycle information for a later time and for more experience traders.
A trader have to understand that price information is very important to trading because every price move up and down changes the reality and perception of the market; every price move will change the conditions and will signal a new trend or a new move or a continuation.

Because there are many new traders that do not have experience with trading as to be a little profitable i will start with the most basic thing that everyone should know; maybe some of you have other methods but we have to start the trading lesson somewhere so we get to link it to the information in my first posts.
The most important is to trade with the trend; this is the basic and first thing; the trend holds the best reward a trader can obtain from a trade; counter-trend can be traded but we will get there too; focus on the image to understand what i mean.
http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7336apti.jpg
If the price is below the lines then you should sell only and if it is above the line you should buy only; even if it is simple and basic by understanding this alone will get you further in your trading; in the above image the price is mostly above the day open and the 1440 ma so we should look to buy only; the large moves down toward the lines you must learn to ignore in this first lesson.

Add on: this is like a raw diamond that is not cut yet; one of the ground rules of trading lies in this.

May i ask you a question mark, how long do you intend to educate this group ?

if you are sincere ,then you are embarking on a long journey.considering you are starting from the beginning.

You will be the first if your intent is as generous as your opening posts.

Why not drop one of your equations for those who are more developed.

I am not questioning your trading skill, or your ethic.

I am really interested in your reason with the consideration to time.

Time for all previous generous souls was eventually equated to a cost, which i totally understand. There time is still running .

So my question is,can you reduce the time to the time you have ? or ,will the time eventually have a cost, or you will have to leave having run out of time.

This is not an argumentative post .

I know all of traders that read my thread have lot of questions from the first post on but i can not stop and answer everyone so i will try to say now; time is the most value for everyone but specially for me at this moment and i want to post information here to the end; there is not so much information to take months but the quality and order and basic information are very important; i post rare in this forum because this is the little time i have; if i go to the end maybe 1 or 2 traders from hundred will understand and this will mean my time was not spent constructive and my hope is to teach many traders that are losing money and not the traders that are on profit now; all information here has a cost and for me it is the time and years invested to discover it and i give to everyone here with no cost because it is on public forum and will probable remain here for long time.

EXAMPLE
http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/...pskcl6qfel.jpg
The trend large move in the left circled it was very easy to trade even for new traders and with very large profits with any trading system; what a good and experienced trader is to see the consolidation in the right circled and not trade the price inside circle; immediately after price exit the circle in the right a experienced trader can quantify the price information and could initiate a buy trade which as my trade would gain in this volatility about 30pips minus the commisions and spread; this trading after the consolidation is the goal for the information i post here and to make a good trader; this is a very extreme example happen today.

Great info here Mark.

The chart you posted how long a time frame is it? I see before you mentioned using 1min and 5 min charts to trade in the now?

How long do you leave your positions open? and how can you see when its trending opposed to oscillating?

how does one quantify price information?for me what I tried to pick from your chart above is something I read on CP's thread which states, 'the deviation of the uknown from randomness'. I have never been able to crack that till I read this post thanks.
