It's up to you!
Many traders have different approaches when trading the market,do accordingly with your personality.
In my trading,i use H4 ADX 7 speed to add positions.
Good luck!

Well I think that trade balance is pretty bad. But FF shows it green . Dunno, prolly different approach. I generally think exporting nations should have higher deficit, but whatever. Edit: Correct to be precise - Lower deficit is due to Oil move, as expected. However, in order to sell Yen, better have higher deficit. Exporting nation has to make it somehow, or its currency appreciates in long run and looses competitiveness. In fact thats what Kuroda and Abe san are trying to achieve.

Either way, Tokyo digests news in 5 mins.

Also, if you wanna dodge USD correction and sell Yen in the meanwhile, think Geppy good now. GU on very lows and bouncing, and Geppy on heavy support cluster. But needed to say GBP very unstable due to Brittain elections, eyewintesses beeing both Geppy and GU. Is not safe instrument now, but technically entry seems ok.

Hello.
I am studying this thread from (the entire thread!) and I think I can safely say I am far along with the reading and definitely getting the hang of it.
(this system Took my win rate from below 50% to 65% in a few short weeks)

I believe that in this thread Alien Mentions 'Back-testing' this system. and it occurred to me.. that as a beginner with a system that can really seem overwhelming I should learn a proper Method for back-testing. so that during weekends when I have a lot of free time I can use all that time effectively.
I am hoping, with a proper method of back testing, to build up my understanding of this system as well as build my confidence in myself and this system

(Alien has provided everything that we need to know in order to learn this system as use it to max capacity.. I am interested specifically in effective practice of what Alien has provided)

By 'Proper Method' I mean, something that reinforces the process of using this system (what to look for first and second etc..)
It must also reinforce the rules as best as possible so that we can learn this system as best as possible outside of regular trading.

Perhaps I am asking for a lot here. I am just looking for a way to boost the learning. (I am a big fan of accelerated learning and finding as many ways as necessary to learn better)

To be brief: What I have been doing is finding big moves on high TFs.. Looking at the indicators.. and then dropping to lower TFs to see what Signals appeared to get me into the moves and keep me there.. which seems like fun.. But I have my doubts about its effectiveness

is there a better 'method' which I can be using that would apply to anyone who is learning this system?

Side note: is there anyone who would be open to helping me out perhaps Via PM for when I have a question or two. I do not wish to use up anyones time. I will keep the questions short and it would really help me a lot (Feel free to PM me right away if you are willing to help)

Hi Antares,
this is my humble advice.

- As this is mostly a trend following system first thing to do is finding trending pairs, looking at Weekly and Daily charts.
- when you selected the pairs to watch you have to find a valid setup (DS trade; slingshot; XCross trade, etc).
- a clue to see a strong move is BBS. There is also a dashboard in the thread created by Nihilist to monitorize BBS. Usually BBS occur before a strong move.
- if you find a valid setup in the higher TFs then go down to the lower to find the best entry on a pullback.
- wait to see a good compression of ADX and enter when ADX begin the expansion.
- if you catch the move stay in the trade untill ADX 89 and 144 turn down.

This is my routine. Hope it helps.
Master Alien can give you more hints.

Hello Antares23,

First of all congrate to choose this method as it is the best out the for understanding how market works...

At the beginning you may found this method complicated with much indicators but it is all in one concept...Alien can be traded many ways.....

As Alien pointed that only 30% of a time market is tradable (trend) you must learn to sit on your hands and wait for AAA setups....

AAA setups are when all timeframes are aligned in direction of the trend....So I would advise wait for DS or slingshot trades in longer timeframes (daily,h4,weekly) with entries on smaller (Adx power, picking tops and bottoms with stochastic,RSIoma under/over 50,bbsqueeze)....

If you dont see confirmation on lower tf when higher looks good, dont enter and wait for all to aligned.....REMEBER only 1 or 2 good setups per week are enought to make money with this....

For exits you can look ADX,I personally watch historical support and resistance leves, divergence on RSIoma or simply you can trade with good RRR

It is hard to tell you exact hints in one post (there are 525 pages) so would be good to post pictures so all good guys here can give you thoughts....

Hope is helps,

Regards!
