Yep. Then trade your price and over and out.
I just buy long from time to time and wait.

I KNOW that the price will go back again to 100-150 $ per Barrel in a year.
and my long therm is LONG of course.

Its about OIL, the most needed commodity on the earth.



I hope it will bottom more, so i can load up more.

And I hope I can continue to short the crap out of it burning all the permabull longs as far down as it goes.

Because price goes two directions I trade two directions. Or hadn't you noticed?

Traders trade.

So keep buying. You must have a very big account to do that. You'll need it.

I agree, one would need a very large account, a low leverage and alot of patients to keep buying in this ultimately super bear market...
Sort of defeats the purpose of investing if your money is not constantly working for you... seems like an unproductive slot of time and effort.. not very efficient...
and I thought I was patient...
I suppose the results will pan out something... but with that much time and money used, you might as well start a business with employees...

To many self fulfulling prophecies here. Really reminds me of people buying into xxx/chf right before the dump. All reasons sounds wise stories good and maybe even right but i stick to my long term count and i search for buying areas. I don't know about long/short ratios from brokers but in here alot is bearish and very few bull. In fact i havent met one serious bull yet.

Most traders are wrong at market turns.

A lot of bears in a downtrend only makes sense.

Once it turns, and it hasn't yet, if there is still a lot of bears something is wrong.

But in the meantime betting against the crowd will get you run over.

Which is the other way traders lose, trying to call the turn - way before it actually does happen.

I im not calling for something, expecting a range before reversal. You may be right on all this, my intention is not to disagree with you but i humbly believe that social events or something overseen are more influent than numbers at tops and bottoms. And it is really impossible to know what it might be as there is millions of possibilities.

You referred to a lot of bears in here. So? There are a lot of bears here - yes maybe. Although I think when price is going down human nature is for bears to let others know what they think. Bulls for the most part stay silent. ... Until it swings that is. Then the conversation swings the other direction.

What matters is whether there are a lot bears or bulls in the overall market - not in this tiny slice in this topic on this forum.

And even then like I said before just because there are a lot one way or the other does not mean that the majority are wrong - at that moment.

Overall the majority get in wrong - most of the time.

But there are times the majority are right. Very few but nothing is ever 100% this way or that in sentiment or correct market calls.

if a did disagree alot with you i wouldnt have bought usd/cad twice today. But the next bounce might be worth something i will tell when if im long later.

I suppose one good indicator to start buying would be an exodus of Newfie`s leaving Fort McMurray in Alberta since the tar sands is the most expensive extraction process in the planet! Harper screwed Canada by not reinvesting into technological based industries. I point I base this on is oil is old school... i.e. there is now more fueling station in Japan for hydrogen than gasoline supposedly.

I know Canada has locked contracts but if their benefactors lose to much money, it would be hard to sustain.... or I guess China could just make up the numbers as they go...

The day crude starts going higher (by more than a couple of dollars) is the day more fracking will resume as well as OPEC cheaters cutting deals with whomever.

So if at that point demand doesn't pick we will be in the same situation we are now - more supply than demand.

And down she goes again.

Economics 101.
