I took it the risk was only 6 and it flew to TP. Its an interesting day there are at least 80 pips to be taken so far today, I missed the first signal I would be interested to know how many pips FX would have taken on a day like today and how he would play it for the rest of the session. I am guessing he would just try and take low risk set ups.

Hey guys first time posting. I was not able to get filled on the Long EU & GU trade setups this morning. Price moved too quickly away from the entry candle. Anyone else have that problem?

Great day for trading I want to learn to be able to recognise when conditions like this are ripe for hitting targets.

The first thing I noticed is that there was plenty of liquidity in the market you could see it immediately from the sweet spot lines and it was also apparent the pairs were trending nicely.

question for fxtycoon: Do you have a limit as well to loss for a day? If the market is ranging a bit or whipsaws around and you lose a few in a row or anything? Or is that why you only trade the EU session because of the more liquidity and up and down movements?

first 2 trades taken losses lol. long attempt on e/u and short attempt on u/j during usa session this morning. followed the rules. I think I'll go with fxtycoons strategy of only trading EU session.

2nd EU long TP hit

3rd EU long loss

2nd UJ short loss

sofar 8 losses 1 win trading from the start of us session until now into the afternoon. Trading E/U and U/J only.

profit / loss : minus about 20-23 pips or so

You rarely will find any momentum late on a Thursday US session. Best times to trade IMO any system, are when markets overlap i.e., Asia close/Europe open, Europe close/New York open. Pick one. Trading all day will make you anxious and you'll take trades you probably shouldn't. Like Ty, I am in California. Frankfurt opens at 11pm and trading through London open for 2 hours gets me to bed at 2am. I have made all the mistakes. Develop a filter. Time is one of them. Pick trading hours, and stick to them. By focusing on 3 single hours, you will learn particular patterns of that time. You will learn which trades to jump on, and which trades to skip.
