How to speed up MT4 strategy optimization

Hello. Im using the strategy optimization on MT4 but it sometimes can take 4-7 days to finish. Is there a way to speed it up without lowering the "Model" option? I hear that MT4 doesnt accept multiple cores so buying a better processor would do nothing. Thanks.

First thing I'd do is look at optimizing the code. Are you running things every tick that only need to be run every bar? Are you recalculating things unnecessarily? etc. etc.
