I celebrate with you today as well. Reached an equity high where I wasn't for quite some years and I am not even as leveraged as I was in the past. Very nice.. Basically doubled my account again! Yay! Now rinse and repeat..something I wasn't able to do in the past, quite the opposite. :] So, let's see. I learned couple tricks so let's see how I'll do this time.
I am happy, nervous, enthusiastic and scared..and relaxed..and grateful. Yay! ) What a journey! Worth every penny!

Very good, my friend. Keep it up. But do be mindful of the market....it is dangerous and we must always keep a look out for dangers. Good job to your doubling of account.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on myself & the state I am in, there lies the biggest danger..in ignorance of what's going on. Without me being aware of the state I am in my ability to make sound decisions can be greatly compromised.

I still think he is doing a good job, but it will depend on how he pick up from this drawdown. The disadvantage of technical traders is when fundamental news doesn't inline with technical analysis. No matter how good the back test of a technical strategy, a fundamental decision made may change our game plan. So it's best to avoid news or don't follow technical reasons blindly.
The only winner is the one who survive the longest...

When looking at a past chart even though concluding analysis all previous fundamental data is in there. People separate the two and then to master neither one.

I disagree with you.

Any currency pair has ADR. ( Average daily range ). It is upto you find the direction of that pair for the particular pair.

ADR of eurusd, gbpusd are much larger than previous days. More than 120 pips a day.

Good luck recovering from the recent DD if you ever bother to do that. I felt you might have the potential to do better, but your attitude towards trading as a overall subject is taking you somewhere else other than the path to success.

I'm not one to tell someone, what is or what is not possible. Anything is possible.

For me it's about designing and implementing a plan that is viable.

Can someone turn $1000 into $1,000,000 in a year? Sure. But can it be predictably duplicated? That's the question.

There's a reason that all the ones that have high outrageous success are known by their first and last names. As good as they were, there was also an element of luck on their side. Being at the right place at the right time.

That aside, I'm also a dreamer. If you're going to do something, do it. Shoot for a million and if you end up with $100,000 in a year, would you be a failure? Go for it.

Dreams are free. Dream big.

However, risk is real. Very real. So there needs to be an important balance between the two.

I'm not sure what his intentions are with this thread, but let's not jump to conclusions.

I think this forum already has enough ego-issues. We should all be trying to help each other learn and progress, not try to show off who is the best trader or whatever.

Why does it personally bother you so much what his intentions are, even if they are commercially driven?
