DD is part and parcel of the game. I suffer one when I am emotional down, and it was deep 60% DD. Thankfully, recovered and hit equity high. Keep it up. You are doing great

The question is not IF one is able to hit equity high after a 60% deep DD, but HOW. If one is able to recover within a few trades it simply means overleveraged revenge trading, reflected in a negative pip count, yet new equity highs.

What he mean is equity rise to higher than previous equity with appropriate growth. Of course if equity suddenly jump higher, maybe few trades, then it would really over leverage, and i don't prefer this, as this is gambling. A potential system is eventually the equity will growth, steady with a suitable rate. Sometimes have to let it go the lose, but long run still manage to do better.

Hunting P's equity curve shows sudden jumps, removing all DD and hitting new equity highs within a few trades. But getting to think about it, it might actually be part of his positions management or the strategy itself. For example grid trading, including adding of bigger and bigger positions the more south or north price goes. Then when small positions are being closed, his bigger ones might be triggered at the u-turn or n-turn. Thats the only explanation i can give to a negative pipcount with huge sudden jumps in equity curve.

Ontopic, anyway, wondering where Tim went. He was doing just fine in my opinion.

My account is more like a test to prove that I have an edge. I have never thought it works so well, now into its 3rd month of profitability. That's why the equity growth is quite unstable. I still manual trade when I see good setup, and fast in fast out. This helps to hone my skill in sensing the market movement.

Lol, Im still here, I'm suffering from a DD.

I made a stupid mistake by trying to trade of my phone, BAD IDEA! I messed up with the lot size, got it all wrong and lost BIG.

Lost some of my profit, so I basically took a break from trading, but I am back.

Looking to recover the loss slowly and surely.

Never trading from my mobile ever again lol, it cost me.

Down by -20+%, Account now stands at 761.04 Looking to recover these losses, by sticking to my strategy and not by revenge trading AND NOT BY TRADING FROM MY MOBILE lol.

I was watching the documentary I posted about FOREX traders in London, and I was paying close attention to what Charlie was saying. "You have to be prepared for the knockbacks".

I guess this is my knockback, and I was anticipating for this day to happen. Let's see how I am able to cope with this loss as this is the biggest challenge I have faced thus far.

This will ultimately test my emotion with trading, and we all know as traders that EMOTION is the biggest CHALLENGE. So far, I took a break to clear my head and accept that I have made this loss. I have now come to terms with this tragic loss, but we must look on the bright side as I have not BLOWN my account, which is what the DOUBTERS want to see. We must not let this loss act as a form of discouragement and emotional train wreck towards our trading. We must not revenge trade, trade against our strategy and get upset over a loss. You must understand that this is the reality of trading. Please let us remind ourselves remind ourselves what would happen if we traded recklessly and lost all our hard earned money. Guys, the agenda is still as follows: GOAL: £1MILL

I will take my time by trying to recover these losses, no rush at all.

Unfortunately, I do not know how the mirror/copy trade thing work,If you know how it works I don't mind it as long as I am getting some sort of commission
