I took the 30, I have started with a -12.5 stop and a +30TP. Any input on refining a MM strat will be graciously accepted...
I actually only got in at 567 short but worked out ok.

It certainly did...
I see why your SL is what is it. maybe a TP of 37.5 is a bit of much but a TP of 33 is not unreasonable.
I take it you trade with IG?

Actually Islander suggested I use FXCM and I've started with them this morning. So far no troubles.

DAX: LONG at 555, its gone +10 so I'm to BE. 558 is a thick area.

EDIT: So as I hit 'send' I got stopped at BE +1 (I always figure its worth covering the cost of the trade)

Hi HP,
It's great to see the way you read the market. I would love to learn more from you, especially your exit criteria. You seem to have quite a mechanical system for entry which obviously serves you well.
I've always avoided indicator laden charts, feeling they created more confusion than anything else, but I have to say your charts are real pretty

I trade the DAX a lot, but I am no master of it (or anything else for that matter ), the slightest ill discipline and it kicks my ass, so I will subscribe if you open a new thread.

DAX: 'Pretty' (Simon!) little short @ 513 that is already a +10 trade. I am however not in it, I feel the +70 with no failures it has given me today is quite enough excitement for one day!

Well done! I only managed +16. A +30 win and a -14 loss. It has reached 75% of the ADR I believe, so no more shorts for me. It should be interesting to see if it will turn around. It has been very bullish lately and this drop equals bargain prices IMHO. Let's see what it does in the U.S session.
