Brucech, Is it possible to backtest on this EA? Have you ever tried it?

I don't know if it is possible. I have never tried, either.

But I am hoping that someone can at least created a three pair diff indicator as I requested above so that we can at least look visually at back history to see to what levels are the three pairs cycle up and down to. This would help in knowing what levels to set for trading.

I used to think this is 2 pairs hedge EA, didn't know it is indicator.

Now, I understand why you need a 3 pair indicator with the added option,
and have it just show the flow of the Diff line and with no other dotted lines for the pairs.

Hi Guys,

I tried this strategy a while back and its interesting. Good to play around with.

It the moment I want to try out something similar and I'm looking for a pretty basic indicator. I just want an indicator that shows the price difference between two pairs. Eg.: If EU and GU correlate, then I want to watch the difference between their price. I want the difference drawn out to see when it is low or high and buy/sell accordingly. This could be done with Gold and Silver or other correlating pairs.

Does anyone have such an indicator?

Great ea ! Thank you.having a problem running it on a certain broker,not sure what the issue is.Ironfx it does not show correct values in the columns.When run on fxcm works fine.It would be nice to see what the issue is so we can test it properly across the board with various size spreads etc.
Any ideas?

Also,could you explain when ea closes trades apart from the tp basket and to pairs. It closes out trades when a level is reached as well.What is it.

What do I enter if my broker has symbols with a '.' at the end? Like GBPUSD.

I tried entering just like that but it's still saying not a valid symbol.

Nm my post above figured it out. But v011 seems to be opening and closing orders right away. This was after I changed some settings and it re-initialized so I suspect that may have triggered the trades, but not sure why they would be closed immediately after opening.

HI Guys,

Couldn't find a working version of the EA Stoch diff 2 pair. If someone has modified the EA Stoch diff 2 pairto work with current mt4 build, please attach. Even the Z score Diff 2 pair opened no trades so far in 2 days....not sure if its working either.

When you find a difference of ZScore (2.5.. 3.0..) whatever.. pairs combinations?


ZScore: setup always.. period: 200.. TF..60 --

Anyone have more experience about this -- 2 pairs difference strategy? doesnt matter correlated or not.

Okey I have been manage to make good strategy to Correlation hedging but it's not finish yet. But profit is good and DD% is low at this moment. I'm still try to figure out the bugs and can it blow account.

I need little bit coding help if someone can help me to turn this to EA or semi automated and then I can share this with you guys!

This profit I made in only 4 days with 0.1 lot.

The problem with this strategy is,it will make money on a run of a few days,up to a week,then loose consistently more than it made.I have spent a lot of time with the EA tweaking available settings and not managed to turn it into a long term profit maker (even just a small one).
In theory it sounds great but in real time testing it fails. Please have a go and share your findings as it still seems worth while strategy to explore but I have had no luck in reaching the developer of ea for assistance.
