Hi Kellychem!

I suggest you, try to find trades after big retracement. Your first TP is somewhere at the H/L of the retracement. I think it is a very safe way. When the prise don't make HH and fall back, you have alredy closed a part of your position or you are in BE.

thanks for your suggestion. Firstly i think the big retracement suit the RM trade more, the excellent trend will often have small retracement especiallywhen the price break the RM that has lasted for long time. (as att pic) so i coud not make the big retracement as a filter when choosing the pairs.
secondly, the fxgroup method still has a very high win/loss ratio and R/R even if you didnot consider the big retracement.

Exelent trend? Wich trend will be exelent and wich not? Backtest is not the same, like trade in demo, and trade in demo is not the same like trade with your real money. Win/Loss depent on you. Sometimes I have successively 2-3 looser.....bad times. Think about it, where will you close your USDCAD position, when you alredy have 3 looser in the month? Let your position run, or close it earlier to reduce the loss? R/R depend on you too. Trading psychology...You forgot draw some lines on the USDCAD. Now it is easy to say it was a nice trend, but on my chart are 9 lines where the price would have return. Wait for retracement is one way to protect your account. When I have enough time to trade, I searching for the entry on LTF, to find retracement. You can find it too, on H4 or on H1... Buy cheap...

after i enter the position , i dont know it was a nice trend or not ,but i could close half of the position when the R/R=1:1, or be. then move the stop loss as the nature S/R the price leave until the the stop loss was met.

2. could you give us some examples of false signal with short retracement. ? i hardly find it in my eyes.

also, i have interested in "searching for the entry on LTF " i tried to use it before, but could not master it . it always give false signal , and touch my stop. now i just use the day engulf high-low as shoot point. simplicity was the important thing in trade as fxgroup said.

I did not say, these are bad entryes, I said my only experience.

And of course are bad trades too...

You should be careful with USDCAD...the P reached the M RM's R level so I'm expecting to see a very important taking profit of long posisions and most of all I would not buy in front of a R like this one..don't forget the RM is a M one so becomes a very important market structure with very important levels !

Dear friends/Fxgroup.
SgdJpy. Last monthly candle close below 88.00. Latest weekly failed to closed above 88.00 and form a pinbar. But i still confuse because the trend is uptrend, right? and previous week closed as BUOB. Should i wait more information for me to sell...

The M is in upternd, made HH HL, but I see a strong trendreversal pattern. It makes really sense when it is formed at S/R (I dont see that in this case), but it means the trend make a retracement. I personaly try to trade in the direction of the trend... and it is still uptrend. This is what I see....

Now the P is betwen 2 important levels forming a zone where the trading will be very difficul to manage...if we look into the P's story we will see that every time the P sit in this zone the high volatility and great battels betwen were the P's caracteristics, identifying a hard trading zone from a MM point of view !
My plan is waiting for the P to turn back into the old RM ( close above the 136.62 ) in order to buy till the RM's R and eventually to compleate the triangle pattern !

If it closes above the 40 , I will wait for a RET+ buyers confirmation in order to buy it till the 45.63....very simple trade and oportunity...strong R that will become S once the P will close above it !
This is my plan and I will put it in proctice ONLY if the P will respect it too !

i had a question that confused me. as the picture showed . the M- Chart showed RM. but on the weekly chart showed the bar close below the close line.and confirmed the breakout on the weekly chart. and could short the plat depend the day bar. but it was RM on the M-chart, i was confused should i trade it or not. any commets and sugesstion will be welcome.

Hi Kelly

On my chart I have only 3 levels and as the P closed below the strong and long time RM ( strong bearish information ), all I have to do is waiting for the levels to become R.
But... ( sometimes it is a " but " )...if we look to the price's past we notice that every time the P was in this zone the battle between buyers and sellers with high volatility were the main characteristics ..so be careful to MM.

P.S. If we have the sellers confirmation @ 1264.7 then the low of the last bullish D SW become the first MM level (1155 ) !
