What i personally heard when it comes to withdrawal, is that often brokers choose to reserve your withdrawal if you happen to have open positions. Whenever they can they will try to reverse your withdrawal and add it to your account again with an excuse to cover any positions, despite leverage and exposure being okay on any open trades at that time. I do NOT know if this also includes Fxpro but my suggestion would be to not open any positions before you have your payment, just in case. If you want to take a break i would do it now and see if your broker is legit / sends you the payment.

Quick story about my trading life and how I got into it.

I remember when I first discovered Forex trading last year July, it was something that caught my attention and I wanted to give a try after coming across a post on Instagram where a guy boasted about his 15 year old sister making £800 from trading currencies. This intrigued me as I said to myself "Wow! When I was 15 I never had that kind of money. If a 15 year old is able to achieve such gains, whats stopping me?". Right from that day on wards, I was curious to find out more and ever since then, I never looked back. I used to gamble by playing Blackjack and I was one hell of a good and bad player. I once turned £50 into £800 within a week then lost it the next day. Anyway, I was looking for a way to end my gambling habits and I thought maybe trading Forex would be the way out.

So I spent a whole month, day in and day out trying to grasp my head around the concept of trading. So many sleepless nights of me trying to educate myself about trading currencies by reading books, watching YouTube videos and learning from various websites. During the month, I opened a demo account and didn't know what the hell I was doing. At this point I wanted to familiarize myself with the trading software I was using and all the jargon involved Forex trading as I was pretty alien to all this stuff. Because I was excited about this new thing I had discovered and willingness to learn so much more, I was able to quickly learn the basics of trading and utilizing the trading software. The hunger to learn more and more about trading Forex officially became stronger and a part of my life. I stopped gambling and detached myself from the rest of the world to explore the world of trading.

The month after I began trading with my demo account and I was just absolutely terrible. I was the typical wannabe trash trader, losing so many trades, poor money & risk management, over-trading, fearful, greedy, delusional and emotional. There was no progression whatsoever and I was on the verge of giving up since I wasn't seeing the results I would have like to have seen. But nonetheless, I continued to practice and things got better overtime in fact so much better. After testing so many systems, I began trading a system and I started to see some really good results and thought that I had cracked the code of Forex trading. I made so much money that I tripled my account in three weeks I even thought I was a Forex God . Bear in mind, I wasn't using a stop-loss and my leverage was lot size were ridiculously high. My confidence was through the roof and I just couldn't stop thinking about the money that I could have made if I was trading live. I thought to myself "Man, I would have been so f*cking rich right now! I need to go live ASAP!".

With the results I was seeing I was so confident, I went and opened a live account in October. I just couldn't wait for the market to open and make all that money! Whilst the strategy I was using worked perfectly on demo, it was quite the opposite when I began trading live. I wasn't the same mentally and emotionally. My heart would race when I placed a trade. I would always cut my profits early and let my losses run because of fear. As a result I had more losing trades than winners, and they were big losing trades. In the first week I managed to have lost 50% of my trading equity and was delusional that I would make it back. This just resulted to a bunch of revenge trades and more losses. At this point, this is where reality hit me and became the real learning experience. Slowly and surely, I would refer back to what I have learnt, and do extra research. Gradually, I learnt about the use of risk and money management, and the importance of having a trading plan, mental strength, patience and discipline and began to apply it to my live trading. Even though I wasn't profitable, my risk and money management, mental strength, patience and discipline would greatly improve. I managed to just about maintain the remaining amount I had on my live account until the end of November when I made the decision to withdraw the remaining as I didn't was to blow my account. I went back to the demo and continued to learn.

So its December, and I am trading the demo. I am doing all the right things, but my problem was that I am not profitable. I just got to the point where I had enough and was convinced that trading Forex was impossible to make any money from because to me, it felt like gambling so I gave up. I uninstalled the trading software and wanted to forget all about trading, however, this was only temporary. Funnily enough, on Christmas day, I really didn't care about Christmas as I kept on thinking about trading. I came all this way and had learnt so much about trading, I wasn't prepared to give it all up, I just couldn't. So I opened up another demo account and was going to do things much different this time around. I even though the problem was not being profitable, I never really asked myself if the systems that I used in the past were also the problem too. I relied heavily on these systems I found online that people claim are profitable, however, despite doing all the right things, I wasn't seeing the results. So I took it upon myself to come up with my own system. I swear to you, all it took for me was once glance at my chart, no indicators, no nothing that I was able to come up with this simple system I use today. I had back-tested this system and the results were pretty impressive, but I wanted to forward-test it to see if they were really true. I tested it for a week and I couldn't believe my eyes, I was actually making consistent profit for the first time ever! This was the happiest day of my life, just when I was about to give up entirely, is the day I became profitable for a week for the first time in my trading life. This restored to little bit of confidence and faith I had left in me. It was this day that I started to believe that trading Forex was profitable.

Its now January, and I put the system I discovered into use and right from the get go, all I see is . Overtime I would fine tune the system to make sure that it is as perfect as it can get. With my confidence fully restored, I began my second chance of trading Forex and ensuring that I do everything properly this time and learning from my mistakes. Its near the end of the month and I can tell you that I have come a long way, from a month of consistent losses, to a month of consistent profit and this is why I consider myself a successful trader. I never gave up, I failed many times but got never stopped trying.

So this is my story, so before you judge me, its not just seven months, its seven months of blood, sweat and tears, seven months of hard grind and graft, seven months of hardwork and dedication. There are people who are not as fortunate as me to be profitable trading Forex only after seven months of trading, but I gave it my all and never stopped believing in myself.

My goal is to make 1mill and to be quite frank, I don't give a heck what people may think, but I will tell you one thing, even if I don't reach my goal, at least I know I died trying.

Nice History, i think everyone has Go in the market, pure losses and then unistall everything... but when u know what its Forex and u have a mind of u cant never give up... u start again learning and then u become a successful trader... (When u got profit the money that u loss before, withdraw it , so after that u are going to have net life profits in Forex)

Awesome Tim! What I want to know is how you manage to grab such big trades in such a small period of time... Would you say you only wait for those opportunities, instead of taking random little trades per day.

Tim. While its good that you regained confidence it can be a very bad thing to think thats its a clear blue sky from now onwards. With respect fot your passion for Forex but winning streaks can occur to everyone once in a while. A prof. trader knows he cannot call his profits consistent after being just 1week-1month in profit. I am trading for 4 years now live and i can show you several screenshots of small aggresive accounts quadruppled within a month timespan. Does this mean the sky is all blue for me now? Heck no, over the time i learned that the bigger your euphoria gets, the harder you will smack your head on a concreet floor. I DO think your 1mil is possible but i also think your euphoria will get the best of you. I reckognize this phase very well and its just a matter of time before you face reality. Below is my statement from last year November and this year Jan on two of my relatively aggresive accounts(black line marks time from new/earlier period, above is Jan, below is Nov). Next month same results? Perhaps, but the % return will not be sustained for a duration over 6 months+, i can tell you that much. Oh, btw, the account size from November was drastically lowered after this: back to reality. Jan has only grown 10% in Feb, so far.
Now i know you are not me and i am not you but that doesn take away the fact that calling something consistent after one week of profit is an absolute clowns-act prof. traders watching this topic will either laugh, or cry at.

Many are hoodwinked to think that 1 min tf is noise. it is all bs. If I were to cover the tf and ask u to guess, most will not be able to differentiate daily and 1 min. Lol.

My goal is also for you to make a million still looking forward to that party.

Absolutely. I run an offline 2 brick Renco feeding from the 1 min. Reduce the 1 min chart for a peak at the trend for the past 2 days combined with a 100 and 200 ema to confirm trend. Hand draw S&R levels and any obvious trend lines. Sit back and wait for the trade to come to you.

Amazing results Tim.

For me, I have not reached out goal nonetheless I am pleased with the results. So far for this month, I have gained 59.4% and have made a monthly profit of £297 .

So my account now stands at £797.00.

I have withdrawn some money, but I will add it back and additional money.

while it is correct after removing scale 1min chart looks similar to hourly or daily (though scientifically i have tests that can tell unscaled 1min chart apart from daily charts) to naked eye. however ATR for 1min is obviously much lower than 1hours chart and so on. So since your transaction cost (spread or commission) is constant, you need to be much more accurate to beat the spread when trading 1 min chart.

Your story looks like mine, except it took me 4 years into fx so far and I still haven't found my holy grail ;-)Wish you all the best and I hope you'll reach your goal
