Thank you sir, I am glad to see someone got the point. It is good to see some of the original group still around. I hope to get back to trading this fine system soon. Has anyone thought to open a new non commercial derivative of this thread?

Could not agree more.

Most of us trade by Udine's basic rules, with slight variations, usually a different TP or some indicator.

That's the way it should be, easy for everyone to understand and all the information open to everyone.

This is a place for learning, in my opinion, we should keep it that way.

Comment: The RmUp was not red at the open, but very close. My expectation was for the trade do give at least 5 pips, ended up with 12 so it worked very well.

Morning

I am trading the method slightly differently. I have incorporated the Stochastic to give me guidance with regards to direction, and it is working really well.

This trade was GBPJPY at LO + 1. It went to TP.

I saw price bouncing off the DO, as well as break through a resistance line at +- 300 level. I also spotted divergence on the Stochastic on the 15M chart, supporting the upwards move.

I dont think a new thread is needed, as long as the variations are not that big.

Udine himself said he was ok with traders changing things a bit to fit their style of trading.

As long as we keep in line with Udines rules with minor changes i dont think we need a new thread.

I was not at my computer at LO+1, but i think i would have taken the same trade using the 1h method. The daily pivot was in the way, but i think it would be good for 5 pips.

Comment on EJ: it was a big mistake, wanted to enter using a limit pending order while px was retracing from DR1: that's the error!
Comment on UJ: i know harmonics is off topic, but since I'm studying it I saw a nice AB=CD forming. Target was at DP, where px reversed, closed some pips before...

I personally think that much as Udine is okay with tweaks and tweaks, his original method is pretty straight and one of the working simplest anyone can find. Complicating any further will more likely end us where we were before we stumbled on this mighty thread. KISS.

I totally agree that we should keep it simple and as close to Udine's original method as possible.

As for my tweaks, the only thing i did was change the TP of 5 to a "flexible" value, but every trade i make can be made with the original 5 TP, i only try to get a bit more when i can.

Asmodai,

The purpose of my suggestion was not to change the thread but to simply remove the commercial content status and keep the thread clear of any potential commercial luggage and restrictions. I always like to KISS.

Thanks fxokieusa for your kind words but since I trade 2-3 other strategies and am kept very very busy with my trading I simply wouldn't have the time available to take proper care of the subscribers.

Understandably they are very demanding on a thread owners time.

I will have to pass I'm afraid!

Quick question..How many of you look at the currency strength levels? I know Jibala used/uses them as a big part of his trading. And by currency strength, I mean the info on the this page for example: http://www.livecharts.co.uk/currency-strength.php
