When you check aud which RoK pairs do you watch to accompany it?

Good morning my friend.

yes......eur may well affect gbp, but look at H4 charts for both, i think someone has had enough of the gbp dropping with the eur, i certainly would not entertain a long eur trade ATM and would only do smallish gbp longs (to be cautious), i trade the now and to me there is/was a couple of hours before the eur meeting, enough time for me to grab a couple of pips (hopefully), i will not hold through the meeting. that push in the G/U ended up making a new high above the last M15 bullish impulse, if it had not i would already be out, currently my position is +pips there and i will not let it go negative (set for break even worst way now).
A/U scout not doing so well ATM but i will explain that one in a while, i am in that one for different reasons.

Thanks for reply... I totally saw reason for trade (was on it also) and went on 1st & 2nd PB ... I just wasn't sure with all news floating around... so thanks for that.......... this huge news is messing with my mind...... still more to learn. Matched up gbp + eur/gbp + gbp/jpy + eur going nowhere.... my 1st entry did not have good feel but checker did.

I am in A/U because….. of area! (terrain if you like), look at H4 E/A, G/A and A/U.
E/A…….testing the top of the last drop in down trend.
G/A…… testing (again)top of last up trend/range.
A/U……testing/near bottom of range after the bullish ‘V’.

I am not after huge runs on the whole, so this is just an ‘area’ I think could be a good place to catch a good reaction to the levels the AUD is at, I am not expecting this scout to be the only one for this area, I may well enter a few of them here, but I am aware of AUD news later. My trades have no set time limit, each trade is different and adjust and managed according to what I see and feel may be happening at any given time, though I am not keen on trades holding over weekends.

I have three trading mind sets generally…. Just another trade….kill ….recovery/limit damage.

Each changes the way I do things within my trading, you saw a couple of week ago some of my recovery/limit damages mind set when I went into lock down with total focus on preserving my book value.

Out of G/U now 35mins until the news and happy with these pips at just under the BRN, do not want to rinse it or push my luck, i am just an ant in a very big world.


well done again, you see you just need focus and respect for the market to grab what you can while it lasts, no need to be worried unless you are over trading your account. worry brings fear that affects our judgement, i just have a very healthy respect for what can/may go against me in the market and manage my book to that but experience can only bring/teach that.

Thanks again and I will have a study of your aud reply... although I know I must not try to run before I can walk..... I am cautious about what I will trade while I have so much to learn.... trading other pairs is a whole new world to me still.

The huge news stuff has defo' affected me yesterday and today (although it showed us when eur down run was finished yesterday.. my man did tell me that he had had enough of that paso ) and I was thinking exactly as you today.. there would be time before and I think I saw them jump from usd/chf to gbp well that is how it felt to me. I read your mail and thought quite right go with the now.

I have been rereading FTI stuff from thread when I have time (how did I miss so much of it on first reading and rereading it) and I read that when new peeps enter a trade they are always reanalysing what if they are wrong which is what I have been in danger of doing yesterday and today.. instead of managing it now based on what it actually does next. Ask and you shall get the answer... thanks FTI.

I never trade too large for my account... think that would kill me off right now. Tried it only once - thought it was easy to just wait and get in against a trend.... and it was not... kept snowballing too much instead of cutting. Long battles are not good for your health.

A/U at the bottom of its range now..... U/C also touching its M15 range... E/A just over its range and G/A broken out of its range = decision time soon for me.
