A decision candle engulfed 1 and 2. Price returned to this area and reacted with a 60+ pip move north. I am often reluctant to take positions at these areas but one can trade these areas. I do so by watching price on the 1 minute chart.
Price touches the decision area and creates a mini demand and also a higher high. If one wants to trade here this is a good entry and if price moves lower there is another demand area to the left that provides protection and a chance to get out with minimal loss. Price however moves up and it even creates another mini demand area that was tradeable. On the 5 minute chart this is difficult to see but the 1 minute chart it is very clear.
Another way to look at this: As price moves down towards the demand area it does so with lower lows and lower highs. When price reaches the demand area or in this case the decision area it makes a new high. So here the famous LL, LH, HL, HH comes into play to help make decisions about whether or not we want to trade a zone or decision area. I don't like to "touch trade" so I want to see some evidence that price is reacting to a zone.

Here price finally touches the demand zone. Descending into the zone the down trend is satisfied with LHs and LLs. After hitting the demand zone a HH is made and the previous LH is engulfed. An entry is made somewhere just below the engulf or even at the engulf as protection is provided with very good areas to place stops. Price moves 50+ pips.
I know many want to trade higher time frame zones. I do too. But I have found even the best weekly, daily and H4 zones require a big leap of faith. Certainly theses zones are good places too watch for PA in the direction you are wanting to trade. It's just that trading them by looking at PA on the 1 minute chart may be helpful. Just my 2 pips worth

Sorry for the delay, always things to do ! Promise is a promise though.
Learn who is moving the market, how and why? There is no hocus pocus or special systems with fancy indicators.
I would go as far to say, that anyone using indicators or such like with success, has learnt how to read price action. With enough time you can feel the ebb and flow of the market.
As RED use to say, they can not hide their intentions.

DP is the somewhat precise area where buyers became sellers or sellers became buyers. It happens on any time frame from 10 seconds up. The chart I posted shows a dramatic DP where sellers overcame buyers or engulfed buying. Frequently price will return to these areas either immediately or later. On this chart there was an immediate return but there hasn't been a return since.
So a decision point is nothing more than an area on the chart where it is obvious momentum has changed hands. It' really nothing more than that.

If you can do this, why are you not trading larger position sizes ????
