Recently working hard to create a trading system based on Lunar Cycles... If I can find something, I'll share.... Two cycles below are my favorite for eur/usd below

green line is 2 Harmonic Moon Synodic Cycle (or simply Lunar Phases.. Expect top in new & full moons, bottom in quarters.. Sometimes inversions occurs, then vice versa). Purple line is 4th Harmonic Moon Geocentric Cycle...

Hi all, mesi99, how are you?
I get too involve into deep research, almost shutdown all my activity.
In pursuing the perfection of Venus/Mars phase.
For example, here is some of the sample.
Do realize, i can not end up with "Get rich quickly formula" but stuck with "get rich consistently, and over time formula".
Nowadays, all the research done using daily charts. But, goes a very long way back (up to 1980).. ^_^ peace to all of you.

hi keco i hope you succeed but remember time is money so do not make your deep research make you lose real opportunities in trading these days

Some years ago i read that book and searched deeply everything i learned from that book.. It was nothing but loss of valuable time for me...

Hi any thing on upcoming moon eclipse 4 april planets involved. I plan (Saturn) to transcend (Neptune). I plan to maintain power (Pluto in Capricorn) by asserting (Aries) my right to detach (Uranus) so================================================

To people interested in this kind of stuff: I was trying for a few days to get the Metatrader indicators from the thread (those using the Swiss Ephemeris dll) working here. I was getting strange errors, perhaps because of the new version of Metatrader that happened last year. However, I found this set of functions and indicators, that work well with the new Metatrader (it is sufficient to just save the mt5 files as mt4 files in your Indicators folder; there is a link foir the 64-bit version of the dll in the comments of the page).

Thanks for the tip Kprsa... As it turns out, I was just searching the forum for the same thing this morning.... Sad to see this forum so quiet... yours is the first post in 4 1/2 months...

I have moved on to the Timing Solution Software forum on Yahoo for good information and support on Astro trading.

Hi JNevins, I am looking into Gann these days and it is much easier when charts work...
I cannot promise to reboot the thread, but if I find something useful, I will update.
Might join the Yahoo forum, perhaps it's a good idea.

A quick and dirty calculation of the Moon's gravitational field set on a certain place on Earth using the Swiss ephemeris dll and the SWISSEPH.mqh library from my previous link. Here is the indicator if you want to play with it. The coordinates are for Chicago (wheat futures exchange), and I was interested in just the relative change of the gravity with time...

Promising! But, as always as a characteristic of cycle studies, there are head ache inversions

Thanks for the Gravitational Pull Indicator, kprsa... Here's how it did on EUR/USD since Februaruy... The attached indicator is a filter to first consult then use the Moon cycle to give the push....

if you find it useful I am happy.
Let me know if you would like some modifications and I'll can try to do it while I'm in the Gann mode.
It's a good idea to combine such things with some price oscillator for confirmation.

Thanks kprsa for pointing out the MT5 astro indicators. ​
The problem is that the pre 600 astro indicators don't compile anymore with the new MT4 build.

I am trying to recode the older indicators to get them to compile with the new mt4, but not very succesfull.


The problem is that the new compiler does not recognize some of the characters in the older mql code.
Do you know more about that?
What I a looking for is for certain aspects to appear above the pricebars. Maybe we can start over. Any ideas?

Hi Ilovepippin.
I have also tried to compile the old indis without success.
However, I think that it should be possible to do such an indy from scratch. If you specify or just link the comments describing a particular indicator I can try to redo it, probably on weekend. This will assume you managed to get the MT5 stuff working (as described above) because it would use the same libraries.

One other possibility would be to try running the pre 600 compiled indicator on the new metatrader, however I am not sure if it works, and if it would continue to work in the future...
