Does anyone have an idea on which open source trading platform or trading software I can test my renko system with?
Cant do it on mt4 as far as I know...

rather subdued response to German ZEW numbers....indicates euro weakness ahead of Thursday ECB meeting. I will look for a turn on 10 pip Renko to develop. Just my .02

Edit*** I will still trade valid longs until then, but will trade 50 % larger positions if 10pipmrenko turns below 150 ema

Hi Dee50,

Can you make few explanations with screenshot about the moment when you enter the market?
We know you use 5ema, shift2 for enter, but what is exact moment you enter? Do you wait to close candle, candle have to be not in touch with ema, you enter with market order (or with buy stops or buy limits)? When you move SL to BE you do it manually or you have some EA for that? Thank you and Jaquemate for this great thread...

Personally, I use a trade manager to move SL. Why distract yourself or risk a manual error? However, I also trade 4-5 pairs at a time.

have to work on the screenshot thingy.....keeps showing my VPS address. Anyway, shorted EU at 1.16069 ...half off at 1.15965....closed the rest at 1.15713

Stopped out EJ long +2

Thanks Jaquemate for a great thread.

As is natural in human behaviour, I couldn't resist the temptation to add a couple of things to the strategy although I'm sure they're really not needed. I'm beginning to see these patterns over and over again.

How you attach SL manager than if you have Renko Charts already? What is the name of manager?

It is called Mutli-Purpose Trade Manager...MPTM..... it was created by a person that left here and started their own board. Google it and you will find it. Play around with it in demo as it has a lot of various settings. you can attach it to one chart to manage all symbols, by Magic number etc

Does MPTM overcome FIFO in the US, so I can enter and exit multiple orders on one pair at an American broker?

You can press the "print screen" button on your keyboard and then on the FF here, there is an option called upload screenshot. You have a crop option when you upload the screenshot. Hope this helps.

EU +68 +48. Makes up for staying out of the market yesterday. The 10 pip Renko makes every thing more obvious.
