Is there any discretion in your trading i.e. time of entry, or you stick firmly with your rules and enter every hour for first three hours FO> LO>?

No discretion.
No pivots.
No nothing.

Just following UDINE'S rules of entry, like a mindless robot

Sticking to the time and tested EU GU EY GY,
Fr and Lo first 2 hours only, = 3 hrs.

Tweak on exit. Exit at the same entry candle. Patience = $ But it is still FIFO (fast in fast out, as per Udine's vocabulary)

Hi Yelena great results you are getting would you mind telling us what ea and settings you use for you stop and trailing stop thanks logic 38

Hi Yelena,

Very good results ... You've stated that you follow Udines rules but would you mind elaborating on your trade management? Are you intervening manually and if so would you care to give an overview of your strategy?

Some how my EA was off, it lead EJ to TS when i turned EA on.

Hi numberman,

I'm also running into a lot of trailing stops today. I think its just the market conditions... Monday + US Bank Holiday? The trades don't always seem to have the momentum to go through to TP.

I'll be happy with a break even today!

Well slowly but surely I am making my way through this thread. Now up to post 9000 and still learning something valuable nearly every day.

A big thanks to Udine and all the regulars for all the fantastic insight that I have come across so far. I started demoing this on the first week in January, I have made a few minor alterations to how I trade the basic strategy based on my own personality and attitude to Risk/Reward. So far the results are outstanding, up 30% since 7th January using the same 2% risk per trade that Udine has endorsed only during LO. For any other session, FF,NY and TK I only use 0.5% risk per trade and as soon as I reach my weekly target (10%) I only ever risk 0.5% per trade from then on regardless of session. I use discretion before entering any trade and try and use the PA knowledge I have picked up over the last year since I started trading Forex to help me cherry pick the trades with the highest probability.

I intend to double this demo account and then move on to a small live account if and when I achieve this goal.

Yep, seems to happen when there's a holiday in the US. Volume and volatility is usually low.

I give up the ghost pretty soon after London open on days like today.

Great start.

I recommend that you move to a live account as soon as you're comfortable. My opinion differs from the general school of thought on this. The psychology of using real money is very different to a demo, I believe you need to use real money as soon as possible to train yourself in all the different challenges that brings.

I did not have any time to post, but here´s my 3 trades of today:

#1: CADJPY to TP
#2: EURUSD out by TS (+1 pip)
#3: GBPAUD to TP

Grand total of the day: +11 pips.
