over 2500 plays on itunes for me, was in bad car accident 6 years ago, got done school (Power Engineer oilsands country), started work 2 weeks later, 11 weeks in some guy ran a stop sign got put into a coma, lost my left eye, severe brain injury the list goes on. But Im not letting this stop me from being successful in life. I cant work in my field anymore (made solid cash 150k+ a year), and that alone is a driver. I refuse to give up!!

Excellent post rooi and excellent thread by the way.

I'm not so good at posting motivational pictures or quotes but I know exactly what motivated me when I started this and what motivates me further.
Probably I wouldn't have succeeded in forex if I haven't had the motivation from a few years back.
Probably I would get bored with this at this moment if I wouldn't have my current motivation.
FIrst I was motivated by my family, to have a secure and nice quiet future.
Now, I'm motivated by all those that need help around me (us) and do not have the possibilities: ill children, old people without homes and food.

Hope all of you found or will find a good motivational reason to succeed or continue, other than the egotistic "I want a Ferrari. I want a castle. I want diamonds."

Awesome thread, I stumbled across this at just the right time. This thread is very entertaining and I believe it will be very helpful.

So many traders seem to have such negative thoughts, hating the banks, hating the brokers, hating the Americans, conspiracy theory this and conspiracy theory that. I have had enough already.

The positive thoughts and energy found here is very refreshing, like breathing in warm mountain air, saturated with that beautiful pine smell, after being in a stuffy car all day. Very invigorating.
