Long at 1583 with target at 1646 paid for 3 times. But now break below 1615 looks like a traingle brk out. I think a D candle close above 1650 is needed for a clear uptrend.

Yes it made nice swings , but we are nearing a massive resistance zone on the monthly chart.
I reckon that most institutionals will rebuild a Dollarlong position in the new year ,.
An upside break can give an upsurge in the pair, but it could easily made a corrective move into the 1.1500-1.1600 zone first.

Yes , took profits way too soon , did not expect such moves so soon, still remaining a small position in usdchf long , and looking for a possible longtrade in AUDNZD.

Hello guys, hope u had a great holiday. Now back to work.

As we could see EURUSD tanked heavily and during the weekend the gap extended to 1.1850. This suggest 2 things. EURUSD positions have been over stretched to short side and dangerously threaten to break 1.1875. Greek elections will be held on 25th of January and until then there might be also Sell into rallies. Now from this technical perspective we can see that upside is heavily limited to 1.2570 on Monthly chart. Technical Inner Trend line is thrusting December Monthly candle and any rallies are limited in its nature. Heavy break of 1.1875 will see 1.1750 and 1.1675. EURUSD has formed a running descending flat bottom triangle on Monthly chart. Now the question is from intraday perspective where could we possibly sell it.

1.2000 is a good place for a new sell with tight stops. For deeper retracement 1.2250 is a good spot to sell, but that upside seems heavily limited now. Due to over stretched shorts and Greek Elections coming soon we might see some choppy action on this pair.

From counter trend perspective 1.1875-1.1850 is the place to look for possible longs.

I actually have a PO on EU 1.2 with SL @ 1.207 , what do you think about the SL ? (I am trying to learn to identify good SL points)

Hello, yes i had a good holiday, hope u charged the batteries too

Even 2035 could be good at this point. EURUSD looks like sell into rallies until Greek elections. Even retail gap hasnt been closed yet.

Looks like a rounded bottom or Cup and handle forming on the AUDNZD Hourly. Anyway as support is very near a possibly low risk long trade.

Hey J! Yes, it was broken during early open. Many platforms show "retail" gap there though.

I agree with you. Long salp 1,1875 with 1,1845 SL. TP1: gap1, Tp2: gap2. Short just 1,22-1,223 zone.
