I'll at least need to see a support level broken on the 1 minute chart, before I let go of my long position... So, far it is holding, and consolidating.

M5, M15, M30, H1 show inside bar, which again is bullish consolidation. Another hour before current H4 close, but so far looks good.

Yep, thought I was going to trade the daily chart starting last week. Didn't last long. I'm back intra-day again

I do have some other positions I might hold for longer. But current UJ position is short-term. Not sure if I'll hold over night...

Went ahead and TP on UJ position. Too tired now, need rest, we'll see what it looks like tomorrow...

good start to an important week with data coming out starting few hours..

got in a small trade for few about 30 pips or so..

got a reload waiting at 120.170

Looks like we are at the bottom of daily consolidation. Not too surprised. If we start to break lower I will close my positions and regroup.

Been there my friend. I had the best winning streak in awhile back in November. Had my account up to 4k and then BAM. Trading is a constant learning job. You never will fully understand the market, then minute you think you do, it will take everything from you. I truly value this thread and all it has to offer. If people like you and me, post our mistakes as well as our winnings, people can learn and we can make them successful!

Thanks. And yes, agree with your thoughts. I had a great day yesterday, but instead of taking ALL my profit off the table, left a couple positions open, and ended up with a loss. Not a big loss, since I made sure I didn't leave myself open to that. But I do wish I'd just taken all my profit when I had it, and left the market completely.

I also know the opposite can happen, where the market will move further in your favor after you take profit. But I'm finding, I'd rather have that, than a potential loss. So, it's just confirming, I'm more intra-day in the way I prefer to trade...

Ha ha, killing my account again, and in "recovery mode". I saw 2 really good setups that are my favorites to trade. Of course, I ignored them, found a reason to not have confidence in what I know, and decided to trade what I have less confidence in, then also ignored the fact that news items were pending. And then to top it off, added to my positions so as to lose even more.

Learn a few good setups, and trade what you know. That's what I keep telling myself. Stop complicating it. It's not that hard. It's only hard when I make it hard by looking beyond my skill-set to force a trade.

Having said all of that, I'm not trading UJ right now. I see USD weakness in a few pairs, which make me weary of any UJ long positions. I will be looking for the bullish reversal on UJ, and will gladly jump in long when I see it, as long as it does't happen when I'm sleeping

A failure to make a new high on the daily chart indicates further retrace. I'd expect it to test the last swing low. I've marked my chart around the 115 level where there's some confluence with trend line and horizontal support. 114.83 would be the lowest I'd expect it to go. If it gets down there, I think there will be a buying frenzy...

Again, I will be watching for the reversal for UJ to get back into bull city mode, and will be ready to buy whenever that happens. But looking at the daily chart. This is what I see.

We are still in consolidation on the daily. I feel we will shoot up one more time. By Wednesday we should be ready to breakout to the north

Another way to look at the daily chart is, it could be a bull flag formation, and ready to blast through the prior high

I will also be saving this chart to see if it reacts to the bottom of that flag channel...

Bought UJ with tight SL. Lower time frames looking bullish. Looks like it might be bouncing off the lower channel boundary of that flag formation, I posted above...

You cannot make anyone successful - they have to do it themselves.

With failure comes clarity they will not get that clarity you get (providing you learn) from your mistakes.

I think the point is the purpose of this thread is for everyone to help each other. I think it goes without saying that no one can make anyone else successful. Look forward to your uploaded TE and further posts...

Edit: had to respond since I had agreed with Ds post. But I think we all know trading is an individual accomplishment. Unless of course this thread works the way I had hoped, and we can really ALL benefit from it, then it becomes more collective in terms of success.
