I follow this thread since beginning and I work with a personnal template using ichimoku on DAX only, entries are quite the same as yours with EMA. I have a question regarding exit strategies, I think this point is really difficult and I don't know how to manage it.
Here are entries for 22 Dec, hope it can help, I always wait for stoch to be in extreme zone before enter, what do you think about it ?

This renko business is interesting.However I am puzzled by something. If it is so good why do the institutions hedge funds etc not use Renko bars etc? I have been trading in a small way for several years and looked at many things. My methodology is now very simple based on 1 EMA, price action ,stochastics ,supply/demand, support/resistance ,triple time frame analysis. It takes many thousands of hours of looking at charts and much study to get to this point I now have a simple methodology to work with.I used Renko and Heiken Ashi for a while and it works. However it does not show things that candles tell you. May I suggest that if one wishes to use Renko etc one adds supply demand and stochastic set at 12,3,3 I think that might be good. I am happy now with candlesticks etc and consistently profitable in a small way Happy trading

Enjoying the thread. I find a 4hr heiken ashi indi at bottom of screen can help with entry and exit.

Your idea is a good one. Study and it more and maybe develop entry and exit rule showing your enries.

Hi Iak.

I think if you use 4h HA to determine daily trend direction you are losing a lot of entries. If you look at your chart when 4h HA change its colour the micro trends formed by renko brick are finished. 4h is so slow for intraday trends.

If you are thinking in to take intraday movements then no need aditional information. You can trade only following MA slope.

Hello my friend, am with you though i am not in my station. Will see how the set up pans out.

You can also try the 1hr ahi indi to see if it gives more conservative entry than the 4hrs' since it's a 10 pip renko. Am following you my friend.
